2 March 2005: My "Mathemaku, Long Tenantless" quickly seemed missing something--a background. So yesterday I spent two or three hours trying to make one for it. Actually, what I mostly did was try to figure out how to insert a background. I learned a lot more about Paint Shop but still don't know any easy way to do what I wanted to do. Nonetheless, I did finish a new version of the poem--no, make that "illumage"--with a simple background, and other changes that I think improved it:
