5 February 2005: It's too early for a Valentine's Day poem but I just made one at Paint Shop--where I had to go because last night in bed I had ideas for four variations on my "Long Division of Poetry" sequence. The Valentine's Day one was the simplest, so I threw it together. Now I think it's crap--and not even commerical, because it depends on another poem from the sequence to work. Nevertheless, here it is, preceded by the set-up poem, which has been here before:
