6 January 2005: my little "circular poem" of yesterday has led to the following:

half a splashful of a trellis's blossoming roses believes onto a garage roof near a patch of snow dreaming a poem in which


No, I don't know exactly what I mean by "believes" but it seems powerful resonant to me. Appropriate, too.

Note: yesterday, I got an e.mail from someone who had just read a blog entry of mine about some work of John Byrum's, wanting to know if he was the filmmaker of that name. I'm almost sure he is not. I would have e.mailed this info to the one asking me about Byrum but he gave no return address, so I couldn't. Hence, a reminder to my audience: if you e.mail a response to a blog from my blog, it will come to me with no return address. Please put a return e.mail address on anything you send me that you want a private reply to.
