27 December 2004: in one of the philistine articles in the December issue of philistine magazine, The New Criterion that Ive been subscribing to for well over ten years, the Greek word, "kalos," is mentioned as being comonly translated to mean, "beauty." Ergo, I once again have a term for one who experiences a work of art: "kaliscipient." I use "kalis" rather than "kalos" to avoid "callow." And because of "calisthenics." (Note to pedants: I realize I'm mixing Latin and Greek but don't care. I consider all ancient Latin and Greek to be English, now--at least pre- and suffixually.
