16 October 2004. One of the artists whose work will come up in my presentation because of the geometrical flavor of some of it is Pete Spence. Since I did a mathemaku in homage to him at New Smyrna Beach (is it three years ago?!), his pieces will provide a nice bridge to mine, and SELF-PUBLICITIZATION IS ALL I CARE ABOUT!! That's a joke, but based on a genuine desire of mine to climb as a result of this latest exposure, and on my guilt at being unentirely working for the Art rather than myself.

(I just checked. I was at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach in 2001, so it is three years ago. Over three years ago.)
