15 October 2004. I am to give my presentation in eight days. So far, I have little more than a few notes, a list of specimen poems and illumages to show, and a rough idea of the shape of the presentation. I hope today to get really going on it as I didn't get a sub assignment, so have an extra six or seven hours to work on it. Actually, last night I took important steps toward getting it done: I cleared the table next to my computer table, then found a shallow box (a carton top, to be accurate) to put my presentation materials in. Trivial accomplishments? Perhaps, but crucial, and of a kind I somteimes never get around to.
Because I want to get to my presentation, this entry will be another short one. What follows are two of my earliest mathemaku in color, made around three years ago. They are attempts at introductory mathemaku, so I'll be including them in my presentation. I call the (constructivistic) top one "Primitive Erithmetic"; the (self-referential) other is "Mathemathemaku."
