3 May 2004. Today a mathemaku I made at Paint Shop yesterday, then fiddled a bit with today. Not sure it's where I want it, but close enough to it for display. I'm calling it "Mathemaku for Ezra" because it refers to "Papyrus," a breakthrough poem by Ezra Pound castigated by the rigidniks of the time as not poetry. It consists of just the following translated fragments of a poem by Sappho: "Spring... Too long... Gongula."
