Daily Notes on Poetry

24 March 2004. Okay, fans (my statistics register tells me my blog entries average 6 or 7 hits each), here are the rest of the frames from the original version of my "Doing Long Division on Poetry." They are fairly close to what they were when I made them 15 months or so ago. I've changed two or three remainders, and significantly reworked the graphics of three or four of the frames from what they were back then, little else.

I think my favorite is "Frame 7," the one whose divisor is "science." I like several graphics in other frames better than the one in this one, but love my remainder here, which I hope those viewing my poem will connect to Robert Lax's "river," and my use of that poem of his in my "Mathemaku for Robert Lax. (It is the same as the remainder of "Frame 7" except that it uses the word, "river," instead of the word, "secret."
