Named co-captain for 1996-97 ... The leading returning scorer and rebounder will make the move to the starting two-guard position now that Tony Delk has graduated ... A dynamic player who shoots with range and is very active on defense.

1995-96:

Started 24 of the 36 games, mostly at small forward, averaging 9.4 ppg, 3.4 rpg and 2.4 apg despite playing only 19.5 minutes per outing ... Finished tied for second on the team in steals ... Earned the squad's "Mr. Hustle" award ... He played in nearly as many games (36) as he did in two years at Ohio State (44) where he suffered two injuries in two years ... Increased his output in the postseason, averaging 10.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game ... Drained a three with 3:53 remaining in the championship that gave the Cats a 69-62 lead over Syracuse ... Finished with 11 points, four boards and three steals and was 2-3 from the three-point line ... Tied his career high with 18 points versus Utah while adding six rebounds ... Followed that effort with a 12-point, five-rebound and five-assist performance against Wake Forest to earn Midwest Region All-Tournament Team honors ... Tied his UK career high with 18 points against Florida in the SEC Tournament ... Was named Player of the Game after scoring nine points during a 15-0 run at Miss. State on Jan. 9 ... Tallied 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in win over Alabama ... Scored 18 points against Indiana in the RCA Dome to earn co-Player-of-the-Game honors in his first start at small forward for UK ... Had his first career start for the Wildcats -- at shooting guard -- against Maryland in the Tip-Off Classic ... Was near perfect in the preseason, hitting 15-16 from the field, 7-7 from the three-point line and 7-7 from the foul line in two exhibition games.

Redshirted after transferring from Ohio State.

1993-94 (Ohio State):

Earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors after averaging 15.0 points and 4.9 rebounds before suffering a knee injury and missing the final seven games of the season ... Started all 22 games he played, averaging 31.6 minutes per game ... Registered career highs of 24 points and nine rebounds for the Buckeyes ... Shot 46.6% from the field, 33.9% from behind the arc and 81.4% from the free throw line ... Had 23 points and five rebounds vs. Kentucky during the 1993 Maui Classic ... Scored a career-high 24 points vs. Boston College in the consolation game of the Maui Classic ... Despite missing seven games, led the team in steals (45) and was second in free throw shooting (81.4%), assists (107) and rebounds (108/4.9 rpg) ... Underwent reconstructive knee surgery in March '94.

1992-93 (Ohio State):

Missed the first six games of the season after breaking his right hand in an exhibition game ... Played in 22 games, starting the final eight ... Finished the season as the Buckeyes' third-leading scorer (10.2 ppg) and rebounder (3.3) ... Led the team in steals with 43 and shot 80.9% from the foul line ... Named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team ... Scored in double figures 11 times, including the last seven games ... Top game was 23 vs. Purdue ... Best all-around game vs. Wisconsin with 12 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and five steals ... Named Co-Most Inspirational Player by the team ... Named MVP at the U.S. Olympic Festival.

High School:

Attended Louisville Doss, where he was a finalist for Mr. Basketball honors ... Averaged 24 points and nearly 10 boards as a senior, leading the Dragons to a 29-4 record ...
