Carla and Lizzy Lead Our Ladies at Trotwood
There were some different faces leading the Wayne's Lady Warriors during this invitation. Carla Murphy ran an impressive 22:48 and was our top finisher placing 43rd overall. Senior Lizzy Benson-Landau come across the finish line in 64th. Although Emily Lewis and Melanie Overton ran in the reserve race, they clocked the 4th and 6th best times for the team. In the stats below, V = Varsity Race and R = Reserve Race. Some of our girs were doing "double duty" this week by running at Princeton then this meet only 3 days later. Congratulations girls! We're proud that you represented Wayne so well today!

Men's Results for Trotwood Invitational
Michael Murphy showed his progress is not a fluke. He led the Warriors in the varsity race (J.V. team ran varsity today) with a 19:30. This came after his 19:42 he ran at Princeton just two days earlier. Chris Young was right on his heels 10 seconds back, and Zach Hitchcock only 8 seconds behind Chris. Freshman, David Andrejcio is beginning to make a name for himself. He had the 4th best time today. In the reserve race, Josh Combs and John Hoffman ran fast enough times to really be the 5th and 6th (tie with Matt Cleveland) times for the day. There was a real nice effort turned in by all the men today!
