Corofino, a phenomenal jumping success in Germany, is now going Grand Prix internationally. This modern, beautiful stallion debuted with a perfect ten in jumping at his 100-Day Test and went on to become a Bundeschampionat finalist. His first stallion son was approved in 1997. (AHHA 1998 Stallion Roster) He was also Corrado I's first approved stallion son.

Additional notes, from Karen Reid on the bloodline of Capital --> Corrado I --> Corofino: "The blood from Capitol is resoundingly accepted as 'very rideable'. This is one of the strongest attributes he passes on. Corrado himself is strictly a jumper sire in my opinion, but then I look at his son Corofino who passes on super gaits!" One of the attributes you notice about Corofino is the tremendous strength of his hindquarters, and how effortlessly he takes jumps. And his canter is so effortlessly collected -- he would do well in dressage himself.

Movie of one of Corofino's babies, out of an L line mare -- I think they said by Landgraf (that or Lord) out of a Latino dam. Juliette is an L line mare (by Lemgo, son of Landgraf (also Lord's sire)), so this should give you a good idea of the type of baby I hope to expect :) . Of the foals I've seen, Corofino's babies commonly have up to 3 socks and a crescent moon like star. His babies exhibit very nice dressage movement, also. The tape mentioned that that year (whatever it was, '94 to '97) Corofino had produced the largest number of award winning babies in Germany.

Photo #1 of Cicero jumping. Cicero is my chilled semen backup if 2 cycles of frozen Corofino don't succeed. Cicero is I think 4th highest bonited Holsteiner stallion in the US, so he's no slouch, and has many very nice babies. See the Fox Fire Farm link below for more info on Cicero. ('94-'97)

Me riding 13 year old stallion Wap's Reflection. My default stirrup setting is always too short, but the end of my film roll was all used up before I lowered them! Oh well... (9/98)
Reflection's other side, which is just
as beautiful. All of the horses on the farm, including 3 stallions and a broodmare herd, were the sweetest, most
docile horses, including 26 year old daddy Wap Spot 2.
Reflection hadn't been ridden since April, but he was such a gentleman, and remembered his Dressage training! (9/98)
Reflection and I trotted and cantered figure 8's and even jumped some jumps! I was all set evaluating him,
and he was just warming up! I'm in love!(9/98)
