Mark Dickson
Mark Returned to Coolbinia-West perth this season after playing with the club in 1993/94 and was rewarded with the Club Champion for the 1996/97 season with 689 points from 13 matches.
Rookie of the year
Brett Harris
Brett's first season with Coolbinia-West Perth proved to be a consistent year with the bat, hitting 331 runs at over 30 in second's and third's. He also won the 2nd Grade batting average with 41.80, to be a worthy winner for Rookie of the Year for 1996/97.
Most Improved
Courtney Swift
Without doubt this award goes to Courtney Swift. Starting the season in 5th Grade and working his way through tp 3rd Grade. Courtney took 30 wickets for the year including a hat-trick and won 3rd Grade's bowling average with 14.00.
Bar Award
Shane Manners
This year the Bar Award was taken out by Shane manners. Shane has been a consistent supporter of the bar throughout the season, never causing the bar staff any trouble and drinking his fair share of the Jim Beam.
