I used to think the purpose of my life changed when we had kids. I was wrong. The purpose of my life BEGAN when we had kids. In every life cycle, "reproduction" is the highest point in that life. The parents have become mature enough and have enough resources to have offspring. This is an awesome privilege & responsibility. Acknowledge this, and know that your role as a parent will evolve as your children grow.You go from being EVERYTHING, to just a consultant in the span of 18 years. That relationship is special now and always will be.

Your siblings are your connection with US. There is a little of Mom & me in each of you. There is also a little of each of you in each other. So your siblings are a reflection of YOU. Always love each other and you will also be loving us.

It is difficult at times to get along with your family, but they will ALWAYS be your family. So accept them for who they are, forgive them if they irritate you, because they are part of who you are. Everyone should be lucky enough to have a family that cares about each other as much as we do. When you meet people who don't have this, you will appreciate your own family - with all their FAULTS, and thank God for them. We thank God for you every day.
