Yesterday was the combined School Band Concert at JFK high school. While Caroline was in Bev's classroom after school, she made up a sign that said "Go Kevin." Bev asked what it was for and she said when we are watching Kevin, we can hold up the sign so he'll know where we were.  Bev thought nothing of it, and as soon as Courtney got home from work, we went early to get a parking space.  It was - as usual - the HOTTEST day of the year so far and we packed over 500 kids and their families and friends into the gym to hear our children play. When the Honor Band came up, Ms. McKamey the head grade school instructor for band, recognized the 8th graders and we generously applauded. Then I grabbed Caroline's sign and held it up! Ms. McKamey said "Oh, look it's Kevin's Dad!" And the band laughed and I shouted "YOU GO BOY!" The entire gym laughed in appreciation. The parents next to me said, next year this place will be filled with signs! All because of Caroline's admiration of her older brother!
