My first time announcing sports on cable TV was with Jones Intercable, then Suburban Cable, now called CN8 in the Spring of 1991 announcing High School Baseball. The games where shown in four counties in Southern New Jersey.

Early on I did play-play play for Football, Soccer, Basketball, Wrestling, Baseball and Softball. I continue to do announce all of these sports today. Around 1998 I started Producing many of the games, then I began to direct a good number of the games. I also filled in to anchor sports during newscasts for a few years.

Word got out on how I was producing games here, and I was then asked to produce the games for Garden State Cable.

In 1996, the coverage area was expanded to half of South Jersey. I learned how to announce the games for TV here after going away from radio sports. Early on, I was paired with many other announcers in many sports doing both play-by-play and color.

But in 1996, Ed Benkin became the Sports Director and he and I have been doing a majority of the games together ever since. We usually switch play-by-play and color duties throught the event. This first year experience in 1991 helped me in starting the Sportsvideo network with Howard Clark in the summer of 1992.

In the beginning of 1999 TSM expanded into Northern Delaware, Southern New Jersey, and the eastern half of Pennsylvania. At this time I began announcing College Basketball and Minor League Baseball for the Atlantic City Surfregionally. Most of these games are produced and shown live (some via satellite) on the network.
