In the summer of 1994, I had a chance to do Minor League Baseball games for the Greensboro Bats, in the South Atlantic League.

During these games I did mainly play-by-play but also color commentary. The Bats are a Yankees affiliate, so I got to announce, Derek Jeter and a few other future Yanks.

In the summer of 1995 I was asked to do some games with theNew Brittan Red Sox, and the Norwich Navigators, two "AA" teams from Connecticut. It was during this time, I had an opportunity to call my younger brothers first win as a "AA" pitcher. It was quite a thrilling time for both of us, and a great experience to get some experience as a minor league baseball broadcaster.
