The Marshfield Tigers broke seven school records as they went on the defeat La Crosse Logan/Central 95-72. The tigers started the night off right breaking the 200 Medley Relay record while taking first in that event. Mahriah Alf added two more school records in the 200 I.M. and the 100 Breaststroke. That is three records in under a week for Alf. Krista DeJarlais added two more school records in the 50 Free and the 500 Free. Both events were first place finishes for DeJarlais. Michelle Uthmeir broke the record in the 100 Backstroke making that her first individual record while swimming for the Tigers. In the final relay Marshfield finished the day the best way they could, with another record in the 400 Free Relay. Both record breaking relays consisted of Krista DeJarlais, Michelle Uthmeir, Dana Hoehn and Mahriah Alf. Head Coach Dave Scheuer was pleased with the Tigers accomplishments," The girls have been working hard lately and it is starting to pay off. Now we have to start focusing on Conference and Sectionals" The tigers will face Colby next friday. |
