Oklahoma AFA is looking forward to another great year of softball. The beginning of a new season is a time to renew old friendships and create new ones. While many things have changed since the last out was called, most things have remained the same. The long hours of winter practice, hitting in a cage, ordering bigger uniforms, and “fundraising” for expenses. But now it’s time to see if the months of hard work have paid off and get ready for a great 2007 season of Oklahoma AFA softball. The terrorist acts of September 11, 2001 will forever be in the minds of all Americans and has affected people in many different ways. Oklahoma AFA hopes that the events of the past few months have brought us all closer together as family and fans. These are the times when memories are made, both good and bad, which will be in our minds forever. So this season when the game is on the line and doesn’t seem to go your way or a bad call is made, stop for a moment and think. This is only a game, and be thankful you have the opportunity to watch your daughters grow and play. Again this year Oklahoma AFA is continuing to grow thanks to the great softball fans in this state. We will update this site with 2007 tournament results as we get them.
