HISTORY: The Invisible Menace came right out of the gates as an expansion team and immediately competed for BLOBB honors. They never gave first a serious run, but were in the hunt for the money for most of the year before finally falling to 5th. Their hitting was the worst in the league but their pitching was the best, led by Greg Maddux, Andy Ashby, and Jose Lima.

In 2000, the Menace struggled and never contended for the money positions when Jose Lima and Andy Ashby bombed. The Menace could never quite decide what their strengths were and thus wound up in the second division in every category except for RAT. Barry Bonds turned in a stellar season on the hitting side and Jeff D�Amico was a pleasant surprise in the pitching category.
