3/4 Update: Here are the game grades from the Wisconsin/Northwestern game on Wednesday.
Andy Kowske: F
Foul trouble limited Andy to just 13 minutes and just 2 rebounds and 2 points despite playing against a terrible frontline.
Charlie Wills: F
Wills was also in foul trouble and put up similar numbers to Kowske. Throw in 3 turnovers and it was a forgettable performance.
Roy Boone: D
Limited time again for Boone. When he was in the game, he didn't shoot the ball well and failed to create much either offensively or defensively.
Kirk Penney: C-
Gave the team a brief lift with a couple of buckets, but tailed off with a missed layup and poor shot selection. Kirk did seem to have more spring in his step however so hopefully he can provide some solid minutes down the stretch if needed after a midseason slump.
Mike Kelley: B+
7 assists to only 1 turnover, 2 blocks, and 5 steals. Mike didn't score but obviously added quite a bit peripherally.
Jon Bryant: B
Shot the ball well and in rhythm and even added some support on the glass. Zero turnovers in 25 minutes.
Mark Vershaw: A
Possibly Vershaw's best game of the year. Shot the ball well (especially well from the perimeter) and added 6 assists for good measure. Did an ok job on the boards.
Maurice Linton: B+
Linton was again very active and was probably the second best player on the floor for the Badgers. Didn't create a whole lot on his own offensively but did a nice job of finishing up when given the chance on his way to 10 points. Maurice was also excellent on the boards as he grabbed 8 rebounds, many of them athletic grabs.
Travon Davis: B
Travon was solid in limited minutes. Took care of the ball.
Duany Duany: B
His offense wasn't really needed which kept his time down, but Doc was effective while on the court, shooting 3 of 4 from the field.
