1/6 Update: Here are the game grades for last night's basketball game against Indiana:

Andy Kowske: A
Kowske continued his strong recent play with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. And perhaps even more encouraging for the future, he once again stayed out of foul trouble, allowing him to play 30+ minutes. His defense was pretty decent inside off of the initial offensive cycle, though he did have to leave his man a few times to give early help on some drives, freeing up his man for an easy bucket (or more precisely, a foul).

Charlie Wills: B
Wills was in minor foul trouble for a bit, but did provide some offense while he was in the game, hitting for 8 points. His board work was solid and he was sure with the ball.

Roy Boone: D+
In addition to fouling out in only 19 minutes, Boone was also 1 for 6 from the field with 4 turnovers and seemed to struggle getting into the flow of the offense. In his defense, he was asked to play the point for a stretch, a position that is not his strength, and he did contribute 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals in his limited time. He certainly makes things happen. If we can now just take out a few of the negatives, he will be a solid B10 player.

Kirk Penney: D-
Kirk played hard and made a couple nice passes, but he was often a step slow on defense (though he really couldn't buy a call) and other than an early 3, his shot was way off (finishing just 2 for 7). But, his major downfall was that he simply did not take care of the ball, registering 4 costly turnovers.

Mike Kelley: C-
Not a stellar game for Mike as he spent most of the game in foul trouble before fouling out after only 18 minutes. Guyton fired away over the top of him early, and he and Lewis drove by him late in the game. Offensively, he was his usual steady self, without a turnover and 3 assists. He hit his only shot (a layup) but did not grab a rebound.

Jon Bryant: D-
Like Penney, Bryant was ice cold from the field, shooting a woeful 1 for 6. And, like most of the guards, he was also in foul trouble (rough time with Lewis). He did have 3 assists without a turnover.

Mark Vershaw: C
Vershaw's shot wasn't falling (4 for 12) though he was perfect from the line (6 for 6). But, while he did have a pair of assists, he was sloppy with the ball, garnering 3 turnovers. 9 rebounds was a plus, an area I think Mark has really improved on. His defense was decent.

Maurice Linton: F
He probably should have been given an incomplete I suppose, but he committed a foul and turned the ball over in his one minute, so he earned this grade.

Travon Davis: D
Travon got solid time early but just didn't play well, limiting his minutes to only 10. He was 1 for 3 from the field (though it was pretty spectacular drive) and missed both of his free throws. 2 turnovers and 3 fouls to only 1 assist...not a good performance.

Duany Duany: B
Doc was the top offensive threat on this night as he poured in 17 points on 5 of 8 3 point shooting. Defensively, he also held Guyton in check during the Badgers' second half run. So why only a B? 3 turnover and 3 fouls hurt and Duany committed a key technical foul at a crucial moment of the game as he momentarily lost his cool. Anybody else completely clueless as to what Duany is going to do next?
