We, the members of BLOBB, pledge allegiance to the commish and the united state of inebriation, and to the pursuit of the coveted money positions and the winter bragging rights which accompany them, and deliver us from evil in the form of managers who can't tell when to get our pitchers the h*ll out of the game, one nation of Baseball Weekly readers under our god, "Sweet Lou" Frazier, with liberty and David Justice for all.

The 1999 champion was the Bums!

:

Greg Vaughn of the Fighting Turtles who banged out 6 homers with 13 RBIs this week.

:

Ramon Castro of the Rieckmann Sums who went 0 for 11 this week. In addition to Eli Marreros horrendous season, the Sums have also had to endure and 0 for 22 season out of backups Paul LoDuca and Castro.

:

Jose Lma of the Invisible Menace: "I told them 15 last year and I won 16. And I said 20 this year and I did it. What else can I do? This is Lima time. I told you this would be Lima time, and it is."

:

This week, we will examine the Gary Sheffield of the Huskers to the Bums for Sean Casey.

Sheffield: .311, 22, 76, 9
Casey: .335, 20, 80, 0

ANALYSIS: Obviously, Sheffield only beats Casey in steals. Throw in the fact that Casey also came much cheaper on draft day (it was a pre-season trade), and the edge becomes significant for the Huskers.
