Dan: Mista Smith and Chris Del Rio battling to a double countout! I don't think that one is over by a longshot! Dima: Of course Dan! YOU DON'T THINK! Dan: Shut up! Anyway.....wait a minute? Here comes Argie Otero! AICW Commishiner Argie Otero is making her way down the aisle and she's signaling to Dima to leave! I love it! Dima: Fine! I will leave! But you will BEG for me to return when the ratings drop like a undercook cake in the oven! (The camera shows Dima stand up and make his way to the back as Argie sits down.) Dan: Hello Argie! What brings you here? Argie: Well as commishiner, I want to get the full glimpse of the AICW experience! Therefore, I have decided to do a little color commentary this evening! Dan: Well it's great to have you! Our next contest is a steel cage match, featuring EMT and Legion! Argie: I immediately decided to sign this match because I didn't appreciate Legion's actions at one of our recent house shows when he interfered on behalf of Kyle Bane to stop EMT from getting the belt! Therefore, I am giving EMT this chance at revenge! And if he wins, who knows? Maybe he might get another shot at the belt! Dan: I can't wait! Well the cage looks like it's about ready! Let's go to Andy Burton! (DING DING DING) Andy Burton: Our next contest is a STEEL CAGE MATCH, and it is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, he hails from Cleveland, Ohio, representing THE DEMONWEB, weighing 260 pounds, LEGION!!! Dan: The man they call Legion slowly making his way down the aisle. Legion is one of tthe most dangerous men in the sport today, and a steel cage match is the type of match that he thrives, as Legion loves that hardcore style of wrestling. Argie: Also, he loves to cheat and this match gives him the opportunity to do that. However, if he thinks that The Demonweb will get away with helping him, then Legion better think again! Dan: Legion climbing into the cage and now he's licking the bars on the cage! This guy's pretty sick! Andy: And his opponent, from Parts Unknown, weighing 265 pounds, EMT!!! Dan: EMT charging towards the ring! He wants Legion in the worst way! EMT climbing into the cage and the two of them going at it! EMT and Legion trading blows as referee Ramon De La Cerveza closes the steel cage door. EMT beginning to gain the advantage and he has Legion backed against the ropes. EMT continuing to hammer away on Legion and down he goes!!! And EMT drops an elbow on top of Legion. EMT picking him back up. Irish whip now by EMT and he sends the big man crashing into the steel cage! Legion is down and EMT already taking control of this matchup! Argie: EMT a very good athlete and a very fine wrestler! Dan: EMT picking him up and ATOMIC DROP! Legion holding his buttocks and EMT from behind and BOO-YA! Nails him with a bulldog! EMT picking Legion back up once again. He sends him to the cage, NO reversal by Legion and EMT hits the cage hard! Legion charging and he nails him right in the face with a dropkick. EMT is down and Legion jumping right on top of him and punching away! Legion getting off of EMT. He measures him and ELBOWDROP right on the head of EMT. And Legion trying to shift the momentum and take control of this matchup. Argie: Legion with a nice armdrop on EMT to do damage! Dan: Legion to his feet and he picks EMT up with him. A kick to the head stuns EMT. He lifts him up and INVERTED ATOMIC DROP IN THE GROIN!!! That's got to hurt as EMT falls down in pain. Legion climbing up the cage. He gets about halfway up. Legion leaping off the cage and FLYING ELBOW DROP! Brutal move! Legion with the cover..........one...........two..........THREE! Nope! EMT able to kick out of that one! Legion back to his feet. Lifts EMT up and BOO-YA! Drops him on his knee with AUTHORITY! EMT clutching his knee and Legion kicks him in the knee to do more damage! Argie: Legion showing no mercy against EMT! Dan: Legion up and he's going for the legs. He's wrapping his leg around and FIGURE FOUR LEG-LOCK! EMT is going to be in trouble now! Legion has on that figure four leglock and he's holding on to the cage for additional leverage!!! EMT screaming out in pain and Legion just putting that hold on even harder! EMT in much pain, but he refuses to submit! What a display of courage by EMT! Legion finally letting the hold go and I don't know if EMT is going to be able to walk after that one! Legion taking EMT by the leg and OH MY GOODNESS!!! He just rammed that leg right into the steel cage!!! How much more of this can EMT take? Argie: I don't think he can take too much more of this punishment Dan! Dan: I don't either! Legion taking that leg of EMT again and BOO-YA!!!! Right into the steel cage once more! AND AGAIN!!!!! This man is showing no mercy whatsoever! Legion now calling for the cage door to be open. Referee James Roma opening the cage. Legion pulling EMT over to that cage door. He puts his leg in the doorway and OH MY!!!! Legion just slammed that cage door right into the leg of EMT! I think he's trying to break the poor guy's leg! Argie: I think you are right Dan! Dan: Legion dragging EMT back to the center of the ring. He picks him up again and BOO-YA!!! Piledriver by Legion and I think EMT is knocked out! Legion beginning to climb the cage wall. He's climbing up to the top. EMT not going anywhere. Legion climbing up to the top of the cage! I think he's going to make it! Legion lifting his arms up in the air and HE JUST JUMPED!!! Legion leaping off the cage and BOO-YA!!!!!!!!! BIG SPLASH FROM 15 FEET RIGHT ON TOP OF EMT!!! Legion with the cover as James opens the cage door............ONE........TWO.........THREE!!! You could have counted to a thousand on that one! (DING DING DING) Andy Burton: The winner of this match......LEGION!!! Dan: Legion completely annhiliating EMT tonight as he is victorious in this steel cage match! Argie: It's very unfortunate that something like this should happen to a nice guy like EMT! But that's the way the business works Dan! Dan: The paramedics rushing to the ring to attend to EMT as Legion makes his way to the back! Legion victorious tonight and this win should put him on the right track in finally claiming that International Title! And speaking of Titles, our next contest will pit the newly crowned Inoki Champion "Big D" Devon Burke against the former International Champion "8-Ball" Vic Garibaldi! Argie: Both of these men are excellent wrestlers in this sport. This should be a great match! Dan: Let's go to the ring! (DING DING DING) Andy: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a one-hour time limit--and it is for the Inoki Cup! (murmurs of approval from the crowd) Argie: This should be a good one! Vic Garibaldi is one of our top superstars, and "Big D" has proven himself in a very short period of time! Dan: Burke beat three men on Sunday to become the first-ever Inoki Cup winner, but will he be the man to bring the Cup back to the States? We're about to find out! Andy: Introducing first, the challenger: from Little Italy, New York, weighing 245 pounds, here is "8-Ball" Vic Garibaldi! Dan: Very strange to hear Vic Garibaldi being introduced as a challenger! Argie: He may be a champion again before long! Dan: That's right! But tonight, he has to get through "Big D" to get the Inoki Cup--no small feat, considering the momentum Burke has going into this one! Argie: Vic's got an experience edge on Devon Burke--but Burke's young and hungry! This should be a barn-burner for sure! Andy: And his opponent: from Tucson, Arizona, weighing 242 pounds, the1998 Inoki Cup champion..."Big D" Devon Burke!!! Dan: And here comes the Inoki Cup champion to make his first defense of the golden cup! And speaking of "golden," Big D has a score to settle with Johnny Smith, the Golden Boy, after what he did at Day 1 of the Thunder Festival! Argie: That's right! Johnny Smith disgraced the Inoki Cup and totally disrespected the man as well as the tradition that Cup represents! You can bet your butt Johnny will be in trouble when we get back to the States! Dan: Vic Garibaldi's got the ring mic! Let's hear what he's got to say! Vic: So it's come to this, has it? I let Mista Smith walk out with a belt I have no use for and now Argie's making me work TWICE as hard as everyone else on this pay-per-view. It's not enough that I wrestled that no-talent hoodlum the other night, but now I have to have this potzer screaming for his mother? And for what, so I can walk out of here with some dinnerware. The Inoki Cup. Next year I'll wrestle for the Chono Saucer Set and the Mutoh Gravy Boat, is that it? F--king fahgettaboutit. Now what I like about this little island is that the Japanese appreciate Vic Garibaldi for the legend in the making that he clearly is. And they know that I'll walk out of here with their Cup and bring it back to New York City, where there are more Japanese businessmen per square foot than anywhere else. But I have to get through this no-talent first, so let's do it, huh? Dan: Big D not too thrilled with the comments of Vic Garibaldi! Argie: And I'm sure these great Japanese fans aren't too happy about some of those comments he made, either! Vic doesn't need to be doing that! Dan: Big D and the 8-Ball lock up, and now Vic with a hammerlock. Burke reverses the hold, but Vic drives an elbow into the side of the jaw and re-reverses it! Burke now reaches up and snapmares Vic off of him, and drives a knee into the lower back, immediately following up with a reverse chinlock! Argie: Great technical wrestling between these two so far! This is the kind of respectable wrestling the Inoki Cup is supposed to represent! Dan: Vic slowly works his way back to his feet as Burke keeps that hold locked on! Vic's on one knee, but Burke drives a knee into the back! Argie: Smart strategy by Devon Burke! He's focusing on one part of the body! Sound technique! Dan: Burke again drives a knee into the lower back! Vic's working his way back up, and Burke releases the hold and whips Vic off the ropes! Vic ducks under a clothesline attempt and quickly slaps on a cobra clutch! Vic may not have it locked in too well...Burke now moving towards the corner, and he kicks off the turnbuckle! He falls back onto Vic, and turns it into a pinning situation! 1...2...kickout! Argie: He almost had him right there! You've got to keep alert in that ring, or else it could be all over just like that! Dan: Vic's back up, and he's greeted with a series of martial arts kicks by Devon Burke! Argie: Devon Burke has an extensive martial arts background, you know, and it's brought some variety to the AICW roster. That's what we're trying to bring to the fans, is variety! Dan: Now Burke with a leg lariat that takes Vic off his feet! Burke immediately grabs a leg and applies a half-crab! Again he's trying to wear the former International Champion out! Argie: Good strategy by Burke, but never count Vic out! That's why he was, like you said, the former International Champion! Dan: Vic's attempting to power out of the hold, but Burke's got it locked in good! He's leaning back, and Vic's flat against the mat! Vic's reaching for the ropes, but he can't quite make it! He's inching his way over as Burke continues to apply the pressure! Vic's finally got a hold of the ropes! Referee calls for a break, and Burke releases the hold! Burke brings Vic back to his feet and quickly slaps on an abdominal stretch! Argie: Good technique, excellent technique! And being as he's got that martial arts background, he probably knows all about those whatchacallem, those pressure points! Dan: Speaking of pressure, both men must be feeling the pressure to win this match, knowing that whoever wins this one will be the man to bring the Inoki Cup back to the United States! Like the old saying, it ain't over till the boys come home, and Burke's not out of the woods yet! Argie: Burke's a tough competitor, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if he's got that little something extra to go all the way! Dan: Garibaldi struggling, and...he reaches for the ropes for leverage, and now he hiptosses Burke off! But the hold took its toll on Vic...Vic with a cover, only a one-count on that one! Vic back on his feet, and but Burke scoops him up and slams him down! Now he goes for the leg, and an ankle-lock submission hold! But he was too close to the ropes, and Vic escapes the hold! Now the official backs Burke off as Vic pulls himself back to his feet. Vic slowly moves towards Burke, who attempts to lock up--but Vic with a quick go-behind and a rolling German suplex! Vic holds on, and now another German suplex! A bridge, and the ref makes the count! 1...2...not quite enough! Vic brings Burke back to his feet, and he sends him to the ropes with an Irish whip--stun-gun suplex takes him down! Vic hits the ropes, and a legdrop to the back of the neck of Big D! Vic now turns him over and hooks up the legs...SLINGSHOT into the turnbuckles! The "8-Ball's" Corner Pocket, and Burke falls out of the ring! Vic goes after him, and the ref's putting the count on! Vic lifts Burke to his feet, and a suplex on the outside! Vic brings Big D back to his feet once again, and a whip into the steel barricade! Vic again drags his opponent up, and now he slams him face-first into the ring apron before rolling him none-too-gingerly into the ring! Argie: Vic's being very aggressive here in this match! Dan: Burke to his feet as Vic stalks behind him, and a full-nelson slam by Garibaldi! Now it looks like he's going for the Shakedown! Argie: This could be it! If he puts this on, we may have a new Inoki Cup champion! Dan: No, Burke had the presence of mind to kick Vic off before he could hook it in! Vic now bringing Burke to his feet once again...he's picking him up, perhaps for a slam, but Burke glides over and...BOO-YA!!! Sun Devil Stinger!!! Burke makes a cover, and 1...2...3!!! Andy: The winner of this contest, and still the holder of the Inoki Cup, "Big D" Devon Burke! Dan: From out of nowhere, Big D gets the win! Shades of his victory on Sunday! Argie: I have a feeling Big D will be going far here in the AICW! We'll see where this leads!
