Dan: When The Firm first entered the AICW, they were instantly THE force to be reckoned with. Leader "8 Ball" Vic Garibaldi took them straight to the top, beginning with a decisive win over "Camel" Joe Banno at Apocalypse 97, becoming the first ever AICW International Champion! Then, with the help of fellow Firm members,"The Convict" Oswald Bates and Gino "Knuckles" Valentini, Vic successfully executed a plot to eliminate both "Camel" Joe Banno and Nicky De Niro from the AICW! Vic's title reign outlasted all of the other original AICW champions, and Gino grew further apart from The Firm, costing his team with "The Convict" Oswald Bates a devastating loss. This feud quickly developed into one of the most violent in our sport's history, culminating in a pair of brutal attacks! Tonight, these two men will have to settle their differences in the ring! Only one of them will come out on top! Andy: This contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing 270 pounds, GINO "KNUCKLES" VALENTINI! Dan: You have to wonder if Gino is ready to wrestle! He still looks pretty banged up, and word is that the doctors never cleared him to compete here tonight! Andru: I give the man credit for having the guts, but Vic is going into this match to hurt Gino, and I don't like Gino's chances! Andy: And his opponent, led to the ring by James "The Don" Garibaldi, from New York City, weighing 245 pounds, "8 BALL" VIC GARIBALDI! <"Macabre Tavern" by The Church plays over the sound system> Dan: Vic Garibaldi speed walking to the ring!! Look at the focus in his eyes! "The Convict" Oswald Bates, James "The Don" Garibaldi, Cyn, and Alex Raptor all following him to the ring as well!! Gino looks unresponsive to Vic, who continues to storm to the ring!! This is gonna be one hell of a fight!! Referee Ramon De La Cerveza calling for the bell! Andru: Vic isn't even in the ring! Dan: I think De La Cerveza sees Vic coming like a tidal wave! Here we go! Gino nails Vic with a kick to the midsection as he steps through the ropes! Gino pounding away as Vic falls to one knee! Gino, like a house of fire, and OH!! Vic with a headbutt to the rib area, and Gino clutches his side! Gino staggering backwards, and Vic getting to his feet. Vic moving in,looking to put Valentini away for good! Hard right hand by Vic, followed up by a devastating knee to the ribs!!! Gino is groaning in pain, and Vic pushes him back to the corner! This isn't gonna be a match at all!! OH GOD!! Vic laying shoulderblock after shoulderblock into Gino's ribs!! Valentini is gasping for every breath, he looks as if he might pass out at any second!! Now referee Ramon De La Cerveza stepping in to push Vic out of the way,and Gino crumples to the mat in a heap! Andru: Come on ref! Let him cripple the guy! Dan: Vic arguing with De La Cerveza and Ozzy Bates choking out Gino by the ropes! They're like a wolfpack out to end Gino's career! Vic moving in on Valentini once again, and Valentini hasn't even been given a chance to catch his breath! "8 Ball" Vic Garibaldi: FAHGETTABOUTIT! Dan: Vic pulling Gino out of the corner, and there's a hard Irish whip to the other side! Gino hits chest first, and he's gasping for breath again! Garibaldi showing his most vicious side here tonight. Vic brings Valentini to his feet, and BOO-YAA! There's a nice rolling German suplex!! Garibaldi seems to enjoy watching Gino squirm on the mat, and now he's kicking him in the ribs!! Valentini trying to roll away, but Vic staying right on top of him, and he kicks him out of the ring!! Andru: If Gino knew what was best for him, he'd forfeit the match and head home! Dan: Valentini is really hurt, and Garibaldi going to the outside as well. OH NO! Vic is removing that protective tape around Gino's ribs!!! This man is out to do damage! Garibaldi, with a hard Irish whip, sends Valentini flying into the steel steps! Gino bounces off about a foot, and he's struggling to breathe!! Andru: He must be having memories of the jeep attack! Dan: Vic pulling Valentini up by the hair! He picks him up, BOO-YAA!!! Drops him ribs first right on the guardrail!!! I don't know how much longer Gino can go!! All Garibaldi has to do is roll him in the ring and cover him! Andru: This match is over! Dan: Vic rolling Valentini back in the ring, so he must be going for the victory! There's a non-chalant cover by Garibaldi! ONE.....TWO...... NO!!! I can't believe Gino kicked out! Andru: Valentini's not a quitter, but he's an idiot! Dan: I have to agree with you, he should give up and go home! Vic kind of surprised that Gino kicked out, and he brings him to his feet. Single leg takedown puts Valentini back on the mat, and Garibaldi follows it up with an elbow drop! Vic picks up Gino, and connects with an atomic drop!! Valentini drops to his knees, and Garibaldi heading up to the top ropes! He'sperched high above! He may be setting up Gino for a Thesz press! Andru: He shouldn't be going for such a high risk move at this point! Dan: Here comes Vic! OH MY!!! Valentini caught him, and brought him down with a powerslam!!! Both men down on the canvas, not moving!! Andru: See what I told you!! I KNEW it! I KNEW he would miss! Dan: Referee Ramon De La Cerveza laying down the count! Did you hear the gasp from the crowd when Gino caught Garibaldi! Vic getting to his feet first, still a little fresher than Valentini! Garibaldi raising a forearm high above his head!! BOO-YAA!! Gino with a low blow, prevents Vic from doing any damage!! He gets to his feet now, and floors Vic with a mafia kick!! Valentini with an Irish whip! Garibaldi off the ropes, and Gino with a nice tilt-a-whirl suplex! Although that had to take its toll on Valentini as well! Andru: Gino shouldn't be going for moves that are gonna put pressure on those ribs! Dan: Valentini grabs Vic. Reverse neckbreaker!! There's a cover by Gino! ONE.......TWO........... NO! Garibaldi still on the fresh side. Valentini to his feet, and he grabs Vic's legs! There's a stomp to the gut, and Gino applying a standing figure four!! Andru: He should've done this from the very beginning! Dan: Garibaldi reaching for the ropes, and Valentini breaks the hold, and begins stomping away before Vic can go anywhere! What is Gino doing?! He's going up to the top buckle!! Andru: If he misses this, it's over! Dan: He's waiting for Garibaldi to get up! Flying shoulderblock off the top!!! On the money!! Andru: He got lucky that time! Dan: It looks like Valentini paid for it as well. He's down on the mat next to Vic! You gotta give credit to Gino for lasting this long!! Andru: It's all about the 'W' Dan! Dan: Both men simultaneously getting to their feet! Valentini with a back elbow smash! He goes to the ropes, and nails Garibaldi with a jumping side kick!! Cover by Gino! ONE...........TWO........... He's actually trying to reach the ropes!! Valentini's about a foot away!! He's gonna make it!! It's in his reach, and...uh-oh...I hope he didn't pass out!! De La Cerveza's gonna call for the be...NO!!! Gino just reached up and draped his arm over the rope!!! I can't believe it!! Look at the shock in the eyes of Vic!!! He can't believe it either! Andru: They look like school safety guards!! Dan: They're trying to get The Firm off of Gino!! Valentini's career may be in jeopardy!! This is serious! Get Vic off of Gino!! The police pulling Vic off, and finally it looks as if Valentini may be freed! Garibaldi with one last kick to the ribs, and look at him! He's raising his hands high above his head!! I think Vic just sent a message to a lot of people, including the AICW Championship Committee! Nonetheless, I feel that Gino had this match won, and he really proved how tough he is! Let's just hope that he's OK right now!
