Dan: Fans, in just a few moments we'll be going down to ringside for the match everyone in Atlanta's been waiting for. The homecoming--Erin McCoys comes home as her team of Money and Power takes on the World Tag Team Champions, the Perfectly Perfect Duo! Dima: Both of these teams have had their petty squabbles in the past, but this will be the one everyone around the world will have their eyes on! Nevertheless, whichever team wins will still be considered inferior when compared to Russian Roulette and the Russian Powerhouse! Dan: Both of these teams have had a long-standing rivalry. Tonight, it all comes to a head. Their managers have had a past history, but that's not what it's all about here tonight. It's not even about the belts. It's about pride, honor, and respect. And the better team tonight will be rewarded with the icing on the cake--the AICW World Tag Team Championship. Let's take you down to Andy Burton at ringside. Andy: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a tag team attraction scheduled for one fall with a one-hour time limit--and it is for the AICW World Tag Team Championship!!! (crowd goes ballistic) Dan: Listen to this crowd! The roar is deafening! Dima: I cannot hear you! The roar of the crowd is deafening! Dan: This is it! This is the match that will determine, once and for all, who is the greatest tag team of all time! ("More Human Than Human" by White Zombie blasts loudly throughout the arena as the fans erupt in jeers.) Andy: (barely audible over the crowd noise) Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Sensuous Samantha (more jeers), from Palm Beach, Florida, at a total combined weight of 525 pounds, they are the AICW World Tag Team Champions (continued jeers), Lance Studd...Max Studd...the Perfectly Perfect Duo! (further jeers) Dan: And here come the champs! (Samantha steps through the curtain and with a tart smile strikes a pose. The PPD then make their way down the aisle to the rumble of thousands of fans booing in unison. Someone throws an empty cup of soda at Lance, who slaps it away. The team enters the ring and holds the ropes open for their manager, and the three pose in the ring. For the next two and a half minutes, the jeers of the crowd continue to drone at an unbelievable level. At one point, a fanatical chant of "you suck!" starts up.) Dan: Can you believe the crowd on hand here tonight? You know what they came to see! Andy: And their opponents--! (Andy Burton begins to introduce the challengers, but his introduction is almost immediately drowned out by a wave of frenzied cheers. The cheers subside ever so slightly, until the curtains part and Erin McCoys walks out. She looks around at the capacity crowd, takes a deep breath, and then fixes a gaze of determination straight ahead at the ring. She takes several steps forward, and then Greg Days and Jason Steele walk out through the curtain with their arms raised. Erin strides down the aisle, brimming with poise and confidence, her men following close behind. As they step into the ring, the crowd noise is incredible. The tension is thick enough to cut as the two teams stand in opposite corners. Lance Studd begins waving his tag title belt at the PPD as referee Peter Kaplan stands between them. Kaplan attempts to take Max's title belt while Samantha protests. Lance tries to shove his belt in Jason Steele's face. Steele slaps the belt aside, then Kaplan takes the belt and backs Lance off. Samantha smiles sardonically and waves at Money and Power.) Dan: Well, the decibel level seems to have lowered... Dima: At last, the Americans can once again listen to the wisdom of Dima! (Close-up of Erin staring intently at the tag belts.) Dan: And there you see the hometown girl, the manager of Money and Power, and the young lady who could very well be the manager of the AICW World Tag Team Champions before this night is through... (Peter Kaplan raises the tag belts up in the air.) Dan: There you see the tag team championship belts, but tonight, it's about more than that... (Samantha fetches a microphone.) Sensuous Samantha: Ladies and gentleman and children of all ages...(loud jeers) this match here is going to determine who exactly is the best tag team here in the AICW. I've only got one thing to say, it's NOT going to be MONEY AND POWER! Lance Studd: The fact of the matter is that PPD is going to kick your asses and we're going to kick them now! Max Studd: LET THE GAMES BEGIN! Dan: Listen to the reaction for these two! These Atlanta fans are solidly behind their hometown heroine! Dima: Of course they are! These bunch of inbred Americans are all related to her! Dan: Now Erin's asking for the microphone! Erin McCoys: PPD, the time for talk is over. Look around you. Look at the 20,000 plus screaming fans. They are screaming for me and Money & Power. Not for you. This is my hometown. This is my state and this is my ring. This is OUR ring. (deafening cheers) You have no clue what you're getting yourself into. My Grandfather, (the camera switches to a shot of an elderly man; a caption appears which reads "Rodger McCoys") opened this arena to wrestling. He christened this very ring with his blood, sweat and tears. Jason and Greg are prepared to do the same. We walked into this ring with the respect of every person in attendence except you three. Tonight, win or lose, we will have your respect. This is no longer about who is better than who because we have played out that card till we were blue in the face. It is now about what it should have been about since the very beginning and that is respect. Those titles, are coming to where they rightfully belong. Like it... or not. (deafening cheers) Dan: Listen to the reaction she's getting! Dima: It remind me of the reaction I get back in Mother Russia! Dan: There's the bell, and this match is about to start! Erin exits the ring to her corner, whispering some last minute instructions to her men, while Samantha being helped out of the ring by Lance and Max. The big man, Greg Days, starting things off for his team of Money and Power, while Lance and Max apparently playing rock-paper-scissors to determine who goes in first. Lance seems to have beaten his twin brother out, and he will start this match off. The big powerhou... Dima: NOT powerhouse! There is only ONE Russian Powerhouse! Dan: Well, excuse me! Anyway, the big man locks up with Lance, and a side headlock by Days. Lance backs the bigger man into the ropes, and an Irish whip sends him across. Greg Days on the rebound with a big shoulderblock sending Lance down! Lance pulls himself back to his feet, now he's just sizing up his opponent. He puts out a hand to lock up with Days, but then delivers a boot to the midsection! Now he batters him with forearms! Lance off the ropes, and...oh! He went for a flying bodypress, but Days caught him with a powerslam! Days brings Lance back up to his feet, and an Irish whip sends him to the ropes. He goes for a big boot, but Lance slides underneath and kicks the leg out from under him! Now...whoa! He just slapped Jason Steele! Listen to the reaction of the fans! Now Lance backs up into his corner! Peter Kaplan keeps Jason Steele outside on the apron! Tensions are running high here tonight, folks! Dima: What is that crazed American woman doing over here?! Dan: And Sensuous Samantha is over here near us, at the timekeeper's table...she's got her hands on those tag title belts again! She draped the belts over her shoulders and walked back to her corner! I guess she just can't bear to stay away from the belts for too long! Back in the ring, Days just tagged in Steele, and he wants a piece of Lance Studd! Steele and Studd lock up, but Lance nails him with a knee to the midsection! Now he sends Steele off the ropes, and a back elbow takes him down. Lance tries to drop an elbow on Steele, but Steele moves out of the way! Now Steele with a waistlock...but Lance slips out and applies a waistlock of his own...but Steele hits a series of elbows to the side of the head, and now he applies a waistlock and a German suplex into a bridge! Nicely executed, but at this stage of the contest it's not even enough for a one-count! Dima: Russian Roulette would have won this match single-handedly! And in record time!
