AICW Monday Night War Monday March 9th, 1998 Miami Arena, Miami FL Dan: AICW fans! The greatest in the world! Tonight, nearly 20,000 fans will see the return of Monday Night War, and what promises to be a great show! These are the fans of the AICW! (The camera shows more depressed looking fans.) TOO BAD THESE ARE THE ONES WHO COULDN'T GET TICKETS!!!! WELCOME TO MONDAY NIGHT WAR!!! Dan: Welcome everyone! I am Dan "The Man" Chan, and with me is Dima "The Russian Powerhouse" Lerminskiy! What a great show we have tonight! We'll see The Road Killers take on the Pain Connection, Troy Walcott versus Barry Bagwell, we'll find out who Eddie Turner will present! Dima: It will be terrible! Dan: Let's go to the ring for our first contest, Ice Cold takes on Tom Corson! (DING DING DING) Andy Burton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, ("Fight The Power" by Public Enemy plays loudly in the background) Andy: Being accompanied to the ring by the members of Black Power, from Los Angeles California, weighing 350 pounds, ICE COLD! Dan: This man has defiently made a change for the worst since joining Black Power. He has been absolutely ruthless! Dima: He is also undefeated since joining Black Power. Dan: That is very true. Ice Cold receiving a harsh response from these fans here in Miami as he steps into the ring with the rest of Black Power. And now Martin X and the other members of Black Power raise their fist in the air....... All 6 men: BLACK POWER! Dan: The last time these two met, Ice Cold was the fan favorite, while Tom Corson was the hated one. Now, I think the roles have been reversed. Andy: And his opponent, from New York City, weighing 220 pounds, TOM CORSON! Dan: Tom Corson receiving a great reaction from the fans here in Miami as he makes his way down to the ring. Dima: Tom, what an AMERICAN name! It disgust me! Dan: Tom Corson climbing into the ring and Ice Cold not even waiting for the bell to sound as he is pounding away on Corson. Ice Cold sending Corson to the ropes and Corson with the baseball slide under Ice Cold. Cold turns around and DROP KICK BY CORSON! And Ice Cold falls to the mat as this capacity crowd cheering loudly! Crowd: CORSON!!! CORSON!!!! Dan: I have never seen Tom Corson receive such a positive reaction. Dima: A positive reaction is a sign of WEAKNESS! Tom Corson will never win again! Dan: I'm not too sure about that one! Corson kicking Cold in the back. Now he picks up the big man and he slaps on an adominal stretch! Tom Corson has that stretch on Ice Cold and it seems to me as if he is going to work on the back of Cold. Good strategy by Corson as referee Ryan Gentle checking for the submission. Ice Cold shaking his head no and now he's trying to reach the ropes. Corson has that move on pretty tight, and Cold reaches the ropes! Corson letting go of the hold, but Ice Cold already starting to favor that back! Dima: Nothing hurts The Great DIMA! Dan: Oh please! Corson with an elbow to the back of Cold and Cold falls down to one knee. Corson grabbing Cold and picking him back up but Ice Cold nailing Tom with a closed fist knocking him to the mat. Ice Cold, a very strong man, can take you down with just one move! Dima: And I, THE RUSSIAN POWERHOUSE can take you down by just thinking about it! Dan: Corson is down and Cold waisting no time as he pulls Tom back to his feet. Ice Cold lifts him up and BACK BODY DROP by Cold! Cold rolls him over for the cover.............one.............two...............and Tom Corson kicks out! Cold now has Tom in a half-boston and Cold applying lots of pressure to that lower back area. Corson screaming in pain, but refuses to give up. Now Ice Cold releasing the hold. Now he picks Corson up and BOO-YA! BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX by Ice Cold! And Ice Cold is in full control! Dima: With a name as AMERICAN as Tom, there is no way this Tom Corson will be able to defeat Ice Cold. Dan: Cold with another cover................one................two.......... Corson with the kickout!!!! This guy doesn't give up easily! Ice Cold pulling Tom up to his feet. He sends him to the ropes and Tom grabs the ropes! Ice Cold charges towards Corson and CORSON DUCKS!!! Ice Cold goes flying to the outside! Smart move by Tom Corson! The members of Black Power coming to Cold's aid, but I don't think that's a great idea because here comes Tom Corson and BOO-YA! Tom Corson nailing the entire Black Power with a slingshot through the ropes! Dima: This man is not sane! Dan: Just determined! Tom Corson going over and grabbing a chair! Corson with the chair and BOO-YA! Right across the back of Ice Cold! Tom now rolling Ice Cold back into the ring and he covers him.................one...................two............... THREE! NO! Ice Cold barely getting that right shoulder up! Corson not giving up though as he pulls Cold up from the mat. He hooks him and DRAGON SUPLEX BY CORSON! What a display of power shown by Tom Corson, hoisting Ice Cold in the air and dropping him down with authority! Dima: When DIMA executes a Dragon Suplex, even DRAGONS run in fear! Dan: Yeah right! Corson with the cover again..........one.........two...... THREE! NO! So close! Corson almost had it there! Tom Corson picking Ice Cold up again and SHOULDER BREAKER by Corson! Wow! Tom Corson is really taking it to Cold. Here comes Westside Walavan and Corson ducks out of the way! Corson grabbing Westside and he sends him flying through the ropes! Now he slaps on THE FLAWMAKER! Tom Corson has the flawmaker right in the center of the ring! And there's nowhere for Ice Cold to go! Here comes The Nubian Warriors and COLD GIVES UP! (DING DING DING) Andy Burton: The winner of this match, in the time of 8 minutes and 12 seconds, TOM CORSON! Dan: Corson quickly rolling out of the way before The Nubian Warriors can nail him. He rolls to the outside, avoiding Black Power and now he's making his way to the back. What a big win by Tom Corson tonight, giving Ice Cold his first loss since joining Black Power! Dima: He was always a loser! Dan: Coming up next, the leader of Black Power, the infamous Martin X will be taking on the newcomer from China, Lo Weng! Dima: X will eat this Weng for dinner! Dan: Let's go to the ring! (DING DING DING) Andy: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from China, weighing 220 pounds, Lo Weng! Dan: Lo Weng, the asian superstar and a very talented martial artist, making his way to the ring. Dima: This Weng looks very puny! Russian Roulette will eat him for lunch. Andy: And his opponent, being led to the ring by his manager DJ Slam, from New York City, weighing 230 pounds, MARTIN X! Dan: And here comes perhaps the most hated man in the AICW today, the infamous Martin X! Dima: He will tear this Weng apart! Dan: Martin X in the ring now and he's raising his fist in the air.... Martin X: BLACK POWER! Dan: And here comes Weng! Martin X turns around and BOO-YA! Jumping side kick knocks X off his feet.... Lo Weng: Ha Ha! You no mess with Lo Weng! Dima: You no mess with RUSSIAN POWERHOUSE Dan! Dan: Lo Weng catching X off guard with that beautifully executed kick. Now he's picking X off the matt. He sends him to the ropes and leap frog by Weng, but X stops short. Lo Weng turns around and BOO-YA! Martin X nailing him with a running clotheseline! YOu can never take your eyes off of Martin X. He's very dangerous in the ring. Dima: Not as dangerous as DIMA! Dan: Martin X picks him back up and a neck snap by X to Weng. He picks him up off the mat again and body slam by X. Lo Weng is down and now Martin X is going to the outside. He's climbing up to the top ropes. Martin X leaps off the top annnnnnnd FLYING KNEE DROP right into the chest of Weng. X with the cover..........one............two...........and Martin X pulls him up at two! I guess he's not finished with him yet. Dima: He wants to make him bleed! Dan: Martin X lifting him up in the air and INVERTED POWER BOMB by X. And now he's dragging the lifeless Lo Weng into the corner. He picks him up to his feet and places him on the top turnbuckle. Martin X climbing up to the top turnbuckle. He grabs Weng and TOP ROPE PILEDRIVER! That's The Knick Man's SLam Dunk! I think Martin X is trying to send a message here! Dima: The Knick Man? Ha! A confused American in the wrong sport! Dan: I think it's all about over now for Lo Weng. Martin X turning him around and he SLAPS ON THE SOUNDS OF BLACKNESS! Referee James Roma checking for the submission and Lo Weng taps out! (DING DING DING) Andy Burton: Here is your winner, in the time of 3 minutes and 25 seconds, MARTIN X! Dan: Martin X victorious over the newcomer Lo Weng. And look at this! He won't release the Sounds of Blackness! Referee James Roma trying to get MartiN X off him but Martin X refusing to release the hold! DJ Slam coming in kicking Lo Weng in the face. This is sick! Martin X finally releasing the hold and now he's grabbing the mic. Martin X: You see that KNICK MAN? You see what I did to this CHINK here? The same things gonna happen to YOU! I gave you the opportunity of a LIFETIME! I gave you the opportunity to join BLACK POWER! And what do you do? You try and INSULT THE BLACK MAN! Well KNICK MAN, you're gonna pay BIG TIME! There's gonna be plenty of more beatdowns where that first one came from! Because THE BLACK MAN is taking over this federation, and ain't no high profile WANNA BEE WHITE BOY gonna stop MARTIN X, from taking care of BUSINESS!
