Dan: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! It is time for "HARD LINE" BYRON BRADY!!!! (The lights in the arena begin to flicker in a pulsing fashion. The camera angle shifts to the entrance ramp as the hard, thrumming sounds of White Zombie's "The Great American Nightmare" pour out of the arena's sound system, the lights going in rhythm to the synthesized beginning. As the first chords of the guitar are heard, "Hard Line" Byron Brady confidently strides out of the back and towards the ring. He is wearing Doc Martens, a black pair of button fly jeans and a black, sleeveless Demonweb tee shirt. Byron breaks into a jog about 1/4 of the way down the aisle, then sprints towards the ring, diving under the bottom rope. A huge, positive fan reaction greets him as he motions for a microphone. After receiving it, Byron raises his right hand high over his head and smiles at the huge ovation. The music continues to grind away while Byron crosses his hands behind his back and smiles looking over most of the crowd. He gives a continuous, short, knowing nod to the audience while chewing on the inside of his lower lip. Byron raises the microphone as the music cuts.) BB: Well....April Fools has come and gone, and I think EVERYONE in this building knows who that day's biggest fool was, eh? (Huge crowd pop which forces Byron to chuckle.) KYLE BANE! (Byron smirks) How are you feelin' today..."champ"? How good is it to be a part of the Demonweb today, Bane? Yeah, I know you will come back after you have licked your wounds...but you have just been sent a gold plated message along with your ASS on a silver platter, brother! (Byron waits for the fans to quiet before continuing) You thought you were such a big man Bane: ran Byron Brady out of AICW. Caused him to abandon his dreams...his standards...his fans and friends. (Byron chuckles again) Bane, you and your goon squad, on your B-E-S-T day...with bowls of Wheaties in your bellies and quarts of Gatorade coursing through your veins couldn't budge me an INCH out of this fed! So, let's destroy this giant killing myth of Bane right here and now. (Another huge fan eruption) The message was LOUD and clear, and the Hard Line just got one helluva degree harder. (Byron pauses for just a moment before continuing) Now...I know some of you out there are wondering "Why the deception, Byron?" "Why the pretense of retirement?" (Byron exhales) First off, let me tell you I was very, very bitter about the way "Commissioner" Ortero handled, or should I say, non-handled Bane and his crew after what they did to me following my last match. Was I really contemplating retirement? Hell no! But while I was convalescing from those injuries, I got to thinking. I decided to let Kelly handle my matters for that period of time...to see if Argie Otero would do her job or bow down to the almighty dollar. (Byron shrugs) As I have yet to see any fines levied against Bane and his maniacs, we can only assume that Argie is in her favorite pose which would be on her knees in front of Benjamin Franklin, Ulysses S. Grant and Andrew Jackson. (ENORMOUS crowd pop) To continue with that thought...I'm, not really a huge conspiracy theorist or anything but...(Byron looks down at the Demonweb shirt) did you know that the shirt I'm wearing is the #1 selling shirt in AICW? (Crowd boos as Byron nods) Hey, let's be honest: Bane and his crew pull in big numbers. TV ratings, PPV matches, merchandise. (Byron looks skyward in mock contemplation) Now...is it ME or does it SEEM like Kyle Bane and his stooges are viewed as the cash cow of AICW? Is it ME or has Commissioner--and I'm REALLY using that term lightly--Ortero allowed Bane to get away with all he has because she doesn't feel like slitting the throat of her golden goose by fining him great amounts of money or by suspending him for his actions..or by even STRIPPING him of the World Heavyweight belt? Argie, do you KNOW what the phrase "disciplinary action" even means? (HUGE crowd pop. Byron quiets them with his hands.) BUT...that's impossible. Because we all know that the Commissioner is nothing more than a glorified C.P.A. who thinks a romantic evening is sleeping with her account books under sheets made by the U.S. Treasury. So...if she isn't going to take charge, Byron Brady will. (Byron begins to pace the ring) How many people out there are SICK of watching the Demonweb run wild? (Large reaction) How many people out there are SICK of Pretty Boy Troy Walcott and his Enterprise getting away with their arrogant insolence, their backstabbing ways? (Another large pop) You know, back in January, Ortero leveled all of these fines to make a statement and I thought that was great. But where has she been since then? Oh yeaaaah, she talked real tough during Thunder festival, but is she going to back it up? (Byron's tone intensifies)You've got champions in this federation that sicken me! Look at the names: Mista Smith, Oswald Bates, and for a long time before him, Pretty Boy Troy Walcott, Asian Assassination Squad. These men use the AICW rulebook as if it were toilet paper! (Byron takes a long pause) So, here's my proposal.... I love wrestling. I also happen to love doing so here in AICW. Ortero's lack of control has turned this fed into chaos, but that doesn't mean it's a lost cause. What I am seeking to do is to form an alliance and I'd like to let you fans know who I'm thinking of including in this alliance: guys like my friend Mark McMahon, who can hopefully get healthy and find his way back into an AICW ring. Knick Man. Devon Burke. Rebel. Perhaps newcomers like Asanti and Daron Foley. Men who are upstanding in the ring and out of it. Men who don't have to cheat, gang attack or ignore rules to get the job done. (Another large fan pop) Plain and simply, ladies and gentlemen...wrestlers. The last time I checked, the "W" in AICW stood for "wrestling". It didn't stand for "Winning through cheating" or "Winning by ignoring the rules". In my mind, this alliance will be the Justice of this federation. It will mete out necessary punishment. There will be no leaders. There will be no hierarchy. It will just be a bunch of guys who love the sport for its purity. The men who exude dedication, hard work, athleticism, and sportsmanship. (Byron pauses yet again) Now I realize that some or even all of the aforementioned names might be a bit upset at me for my "retirement" stunt. I'd like to formerly apologize to Knick Man, Mark and Devon Burke...but it was all part of the game, fellas. The only way I could've accomplished what I did during the Tokyo Thunder Festival was by having that element of surprise. Now...a little message to those who need it most. Demonweb...Enterprise...Golden Calvalcade or Calvary or whoever those losers are that Smith has aligned himself with...what's left of Black Power...you boys are Target Alpha and if you're going to step outside of the lines, then Hard Line will be right there with you. I have filled out my last ER admissions form. Time for me to start PUTTING the deserving into ambulances instead of occupying one myself. I came into this league saying that good wrestling should be emphasized; the merits of it bring their own rewards. I also stated that rulebreaking and cheating shouldn't be tolerated. Yeah, I know that you are always going to have a little bit of it, but AICW far exceeds its quota. And I won't even start on the filth that occupies the majority of the championship belts. (Byron pauses) Cheating in other sports isn't tolerated, so why is it here in AICW? Let me mention a few names and events: various college basketball point shaving scandals...Art Schlichter...Pete Rose...Ben Johnson...and of course, Mike Tyson. If any of these men were in the AICW, it's probable that they wouldn't be paying for their transgressions. Can I be expected to let this crap continue one day longer? HELL no! Let me close out by saying today begins a new era in AICW; an era where Byron Brady becomes proactive instead of reactive. And hopefully an era where the "good guys" can find a common ground and forge an alliance that can right this rotting, festering federation. It may take a little more chaos before we get some order, fans, (Byron grins wide) but that's cool with me. I'm THROUGH with order for the time being! It's Old Testament Time here in AICW. Let the righteous justice commence! (Byron uses his free hand to rip the Demonweb shirt off of him, revealing a white tank top emblazoned with the slogan " By Any Means Necessary" and a picture of Byron holding a rifle and looking out a window. The fans pop big. He then tosses the mic out of the ring and vaults himself over the top rope, high fiving fans on his way back to the dressing room. On his way out he pauses and points to a "Kelly Lynn For Commissioner" sign, nodding with great approval. The sounds of "The Great American Nightmare" restart and blare outwards until Byron disappears from the scene.) Dan: WHOA YEAH!!! Byron Brady is BACK in the AICW!!! I have a feeling that things are gonna be MUCH different in the AICW very soon!! Fans, were gonna take another commercial break, but when we return, the main event between Mista Smith and Chris Del Rio!
