AICW Presents: Monday Night War Monday January 19th, 1998 Skydome, Toronto Canada (The camera pans around the sold out Skydome in Toronto Canada as thousands of fans are chanting "AICW" continously. The dome goes black, lighted only by the stars in the clear sky as the War theme music blasts loudly throughout the arena. Fireworks errupt in the air, and we can see an electronic image of the Monday Night War logo in the center of the ring. The lights come back on and we get a glimpse of many fans holding up various signs such as "Long Live The Firm", "Marry Me Pretty Boy Troy", "Tom Corson is a geek", and "The Demonweb is gonna walk THE HARD LINE" The camera then shows Dan "The Man" Chan and The Knick Man making their way down the ring. They are both dressed in black suits as they take a seat at the broadcast area.) Dan Chan: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is Dan Chan and WELCOME TO MONDAY NIGHT WAR! Joining me this evening is The One, The Only, The Knick Man! Knick Man: I see Lord Awesome has joined the ranks of the AICW! Lord, you know you my boy and all, but if you get in my way, I just might have to step into the ring with you and show you what wrestling is ALL ABOUT! Dan: We have an exciting show for you tonight! In our Main Event, The Demonweb, featuring Kyle Bane, Legion, and Mr Y, will be taking on Hard Line Byron Brady and Mark McMahon. Knick Man: This is suppose to be a handicap match, but with that bumbling idiot Mr Y in the ring, I think Brady and McMahon have most certainly have to have the advantage! Dan: We also got a 20 man, over the top rope, battle royal! AICW International Champion Vic Garibaldi has stated that if any man can eliminate him, he would offer them an International Title shot! Knick Man: Every man in this thing is going to be gunning for Vic G. That's going to be his downfall. If I had to make a choice as to who was going to win this thing, I would have to go with Michael Fulton. This young man has been on a roll in his short stint in the AICW and I think he's going to be the man to win it all! Dan: We also have Pretty Boy Troy taking on El Aguila Negro in what should be a very important match in the Television Title division. Ice Cold will be going up against his nemesis, Tom Corson! The Saint will be going up against Black Power's own, Nelson Bukola! Ebola Zaire tangles with "The Extreme" JT Savage, and finally Hardcore Henry Thunder will go up against 3 MEN! Knick Man: It's going to be WAR here in Toronto! Dan: Let's go to Andy Burton for the opening matchup! Andy: This opening contest of Monday Night War is a special handicap match! Currently in the ring--first, from Houston, Texas, weighing in at 291 pounds, Sonny Sidesaddle! (modest cheers) From Acapulco, New Mexico, weighing 243 pounds, Rip Rider! (modest cheers) And from Queens, New York, weighing 270 pounds, Jim Borden! (Borden tries to fire up the crowd by screaming, shaking the ropes, and waving his arms around; he is rewarded by modest cheers) Dan: These three men certainly look ready for this matchup! Knick Man: Yeah...for their funeral! Dan: These three men ostensibly have the advantage here, but let's not discount the deadliness of the man who is about to come down that aisle... Andy: And their opponent, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing 277 pounds, "Hardcore" Henry Thunder!!! Dan: Here he is, the man who put Johnny Payne out of the AICW, and perhaps out of wrestling altogether! Knick Man: This man is extremely dangerous, and not to be taken lightly at all! Dan: Listen to the jeers this man is getting! Everyone in this jam-packed Skydome hates Henry Thunder! Knick Man: Of course! He put the hardcore legend out of action! Dan: The man called "Hardcore" is all business here tonight! Oh, wait a minute! He just jumped into the ring, and he's pounding away on Sonny Sidesaddle! Rider and Borden are trying to help out, but Hardcore is giving them all the same treatment! He just tossed Rider out of the ring! Now a snapping DDT on Sidesaddle, and that looked like it may have broken his neck, Knick Man! Knick Man: Wasn't that the same neck motion we saw out of Stone-Cold Steve Wannabe? Dan: Borden tries to charge at Thunder, but he gets met with a spinebuster! Rider's trying to get back in, and Thunder gives him a little "assistance," pulling him back in by the hair! And now a gorilla press, and...OH NO! He just dropped him outside the ring from at least ten feet up!!! Knick Man: Ouch! That hurt! Dan: Now he turns his attention back to Sidesaddle, and he's setting him up! What's this gonna be? BOO-YA! A devastating jumping piledriver that almost put him through the mat!! He folded up like an accordian on that one! If Sonny Sidesaddle didn't break his neck yet, that move might've done it! And now Borden is shaking the ropes and yelling at the crowd, firing himself up! He's attacking Henry Thunder, but it's having no effect! Knick Man: Thunder's gonna KILL him! Dan: That only served to make Thunder angry! He's got Borden by the hair, and a STIFF right hand takes him down! Now he's putting the boots to him! He's picking him up, and...POWERBOMB! And now it looks like he's going for it again! Another HARD slam into the canvas! But he's not done yet! He's forcing Borden to his feet, and it looks like he's going for the Hardcore Torture Rack! He's got him up! It's all over!!! They're ringing the bell! Andy: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this contest as the result of a submission, "Hardcore" Henry Thunder! Dan: And he's not letting go of the hold! He's trying to break Jim Borden's back! The referee's trying to get him to release the hold! Thunder finally drops Jim Borden, but...NO! He just put his hands on the referee! He just put his hands on James Roma! He has no respect for authority! He's threatening to hit our official!!! But Thunder changing his mind suddenly! He's turning and leaving back to the dressing room! This man is unstable! Knick Man: Just imagine--he could be your next AICW World Champion! Dan: Hardcore Henry Thunder completely annihilating and destroying the opposition on War tonight! Knick Man: Thunder isn't playing any games here in the AICW! He's out to eliminate any and all opposition that goes up against him. He's World Title material and he has been unstoppable thus far! Dan: Coming up, we have Ebola Zaire taking on JT Savage! Let's go to the ring! (DING DING DING) Andy: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...led to the ring by Paradise, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing 246 pounds, "THE EXTREME" JT SAVAGE!!! Dan: And here comes JT Savage! He's been on a losing streak in the AICW as of late and he's looking to turn things around. Knick Man: Well Savage has a tough opponent tonight, taking on the massive Ebola Zaire. Andy: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Zula, from Parts Unknown, weighing 315 pounds, EBOLA ZAIRE! Dan: Look at the size of this man! He is huge! Knick Man: Ebola, a powerful black wrestler injured his leg a while back and now he's looking to rise to the top of wrestling once again. He has a good test for him tonight, going up against the veteran, JT Savage! Dan: Ebola Zaire in the ring now and look at that menecing stare he gives to Savage! Talk about intimidation! The bell rings and Savage all over Zaire! He's giving him a furry of punches but they aren't even phasing the big man! Savage to the ropes and nails Zaire with a dropkick! But Zaire doesn't even fall down! He's LAUGHING AT SAVAGE! Knick Man: This man is sick! Dan: Savage to the ropes again! He leaps towards Zaire for a flying body press, but Zaire catches him in midair! Zaire lifts him up in the air and holds him there for a few seconds and BAM! A gorrila press slam by the big man! This man has some POWER! Knick Man: Savage is almost 250 pounds, and Zaire just lift him up and dropped him like he was a ragdoll! Dan: Zaire picking him off the mat. He sends him to the ropes and BIG BOOT to the chest of Savage knocks him down to the mat! And Zaire just puts his boot on him for the cover...........one.............two .............Savage barely kicks out! If Zaire would have did a real cover, this match would be over already! Knick Man: I don't think Zaire wants it to be over! He's having fun destroying JT Savage! Dan: Zaire picking up Savage from the mat at a reverse knife edge chop to the chest of Savage! And again! And again! Do you hear the power of those blows to his chest? Knick Man: This Zaire has come to wrestle tonight! Dan: The big man lifting Savage up again for the Gorrila Press. He pumps him up in the air 3 times and BOO-YA! Zaire just turned that gorrila press into a gut buster, and I don't think JT Savage is moving! Knick Man: (singing) Da Da Thump, Thump, Thump! Another one bites the dust! Dan: Savage isn't moving, and look at the evil smile on the face of Zaire as this capacity crowd showers him with boos! Zaire picking up the unconscious Savage and SPINE BUSTER! My Lord! That was brutal! Knick Man: Stop the match already! This Zaire is going to seriously hurt this young man! Dan: Ebola Zaire now picking JT up by his neck with both hands! He holds him suspended up in the air! Now he switches to one hand and BOO-YA!!! a DEVISTATING CHOKE SLAM by Zaire! He calls that manuever Sudden Death! And now he puts one foot on him again for the cover.........one..........two......three! This match is history! Andy: The winner of the match, in the time of 3 minutes and 12 seconds, EBOLA ZAIRE! Dan: Ebola Zaire completely annihilating JT Savage, and he's not done yet! He picking JT up again SUDDEN DEATH AGAIN! Somebody stop this monster! Zulu now pushing a chair to the inside of the ring! Zaire takes the chair and SLAMS IT ACROSS THE FACE OF SAVAGE! Now he's putting the chair down and he lifts Savage up in the air and SUDDEN DEATH ON TOP OF THE CHAIR! Savage isn't moving and finally the officials getting this madman out of the ring! This guy is absoultely crazy! Knick Man: He isn't crazy Dan! He's sending a message out to The Saint! Dan: That he is as Zaire just made a sign of the cross to the camera! I don't think The Saint is going to appreciate that one! Ebola Zaire, victorious completely destroying JT Savage as the EMT workers are placing Savage on a stretcher. That young man's career might be over Knick Man! Knick Man: Might? I would be very surprised if we ever see JT Savage again! Dan: A very violent Monday Night War this evening and we've just begun.
