AICW Saturday Night Heat February 7th, 1998 Live From The Core State Spectrum, Philadelphia PA (The camera gets a glimpse outside of the Core State Spectrum. It is a clear night and we can see the many cars, buses, vans, etc piling into the parking lot as thousands of fans gather to witness an AICW event. The camera then slowly closes in closer and closer to the stadium until we reach the roof, and then we are immediately transported inside of the stadium. There are many fans screaming at the top of their lungs as "Beatoven's 5th Sympothy" plays loudly in the background. A loud AICW chant is started and it catches on very quickly throughout the entire arena. The camera continues to scan slowly around the arena until we finally get a glimpse of the arena floor and the lucky fans who have close up seats. There are many colorful signs such as "Byron Brady vs Johnny Smith - The People's Choice", "Knick Man and Marv Albert - What a Couple!", "Bring back Erotic Erin", and "The Firm - Family Forever" The camera then shows the AICW ring announcer Andy Burton standing in the middle of the ring, microphone in hand.) Andy Burton: Philadelphia, can you handle the HEAT? (The crowd responds with a resounding "HELL YEAH") Andy: Then welcome to SATURDAY NIGHT HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!! (The crowd goes bannanas) Andy: Please welcome your commentators for the evening, here are Dan "The Man" Chan and The One, The Only, THE KNICK MAN! (Generic AICW music plays throughout the arena as Dan "The Man" Chan and The Knick Man make their way down the aisle. Dan claps some of the hands of the fans while The Knick Man waves to his many supporters. The Knick Man gets a glimpse of the Marv Albert sign and laughs. The duo then arrives to their broadcasting seats, and puts on their headphones) Dan "The Man" Chan: Good evening everyone, I'm Dan Chan and welcome to another edition of SATURDAY NIGHT HEAT! Joining me this evening, is everyone's favorite Basketball Player/Wrestler, The Knick Man! The Knick Man: It's a pleasure as always to be here in this great federation Dan! Dan: So Knick Man, how do you feel about the allegations made about you and a relationship with Marv Albert? Knick Man: I knew you would go there Dan! I mean, come on! Marv ain't my type! I like my girls EROTIC and SENSUOUS, if you know what I mean! Dan: I'm afraid I do! We have another killer card coming to you tonight! In our Main Event, "The Golden Boy" Johnny Smith will take on one of the members of The Demonweb, namely LEGION! Knick Man: Both of these men need the win tonight. The Golden Boy is trying to establish himself as a top contender for the AICW World Title, while Legion is gunning for a long awaited International Title shot against Vic Garibaldi. It should be a very intense matchup! Dan: We also have two of AICW's top young talents, "The Ultimate Male" Chris Del Rio, and Michael "Primetime" Fulton going at it! Knick Man: Both of these guys are talented newcomers! They are both looking to make an impact in a big way in the AICW, and whoever comes out the winner of this one, will do it! Dan: We have Reverend Sin taking on The Shogun of Harlem! Newcomers, Rebel and Daron Foley in the house, and much much more! Ladies and Gentlemen, we got lots of action for you tonight! So without further ado, let's go to Andy Burton! (DING DING DING) Andy Burton: Our opening contest this evening is scheduled for one fall. In the ring to my left, from Cobb County, Georgia, weighing 210 pounds, ROBERT TRAYLOR! Dan: Robert Traylor, a rookie coming out of Georgia making his AICW debut tonight! Knick Man: Nothing good comes out of Cobb County Georgia! Andy: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by his manager, Belle, from Middlesboro, Kentucky, weighing 220 pounds, REBEL! Dan: Rebel, a newcomer to the AICW receiving a nice ovation from the crowd as he makes his way down the ring waving a confederate flag. Knick Man: That boy better be careful! Us northerners don't take too kindly to "The Confederacy" around here! Dan: Referee James Roma will be the official for this match as Rebel climbs into the ring. He seems like a fine young man to me! Rebel handing the flag to Belle as the bell rings to start the match. Rebel and Robert shaking hands in a refreshing display of sportsmanship! Knick Man: There's a word that's rarely used in the wrestling industry! Dan: They lock up! Rebel getting the advantage over Traylor and he backs him into a corner. Traylor grabbing the ropes and Rebel breaking cleanly as the two competitors return to the center of the ring. They lock up again and a nice armdrag takedown by Rebel. He turns it into an armbar and applies it pretty tight, but Traylor too close to the ropes and he easily grabs on to them to break the hold. Knick Man: Those ropes have gotten me out of many a predictiment! The ropes is a wrestlers best friend! Dan: Rebel breaking the hold and now he waits for Traylor to get up. Traylor on his feet and he nails him with a standing dropkick! Knick Man: Rebel using an impressive display of agility to execute that drop kick! Dan: Rebel with the cover...........one...........two........... kickout by Traylor. Rebel picks him up and now he slaps on a bulldog headlock. Traylor pushes him off and sends him to the ropes. Leap frog by Traylor, but Rebel puts on the breaks! Rebel from behind and he nails him with a beautifully executed NECKBREAKER! Knick Man: Big mistake by Traylor. Always keep your eye on your opponent. Dan: Rebel with another cover..........one..........two........... kickout! Rebel now picking him up to his feet. He grabs him by the head and DDT to the mat! Traylor is down! Rebel now going to the outside! He's climbing the ropes, and now he's on the top ropes! Rebel leaps off and STARS AND STRIPES! Rebel executing his patent Flying Leg Drop and he hooks the leg..........one........two......... three! (DING DING DING) Andy Burton: The winner of this match........REBEL! Dan: Rebel getting the victory in his debut match here in the AICW! Knick Man: He looked pretty good thus far! But I would like to see what he can do going up against the premier superstars in the AICW! Dan: Rebel celebrating with his manager Belle and...... ("Fight The Power" by Public Enemy plasy loudly throughout the loudspeaker.) Dan: Oh boy! Martin X is coming down the aisle! He's with DJ Slam and he stops near the locker room enterance. He has a microphone in his hand. Let's listen in. Martin X: Rebel, you little SOUTHERN WHITE BOY! Who do you think you are coming into MY FEDERATION waving that RACIST CONFEDERATE FLAG? Don't you know that's a symbol of oppression to MY PEOPLE! You think you can walk up in here and try to oppress my people once again? I don't think so! Rebel, you made a serious mistake bringing that RACIST FLAG to the ring! And I'm going to give you one warning and one warning only CHUMP! If I catch you bringing that flag to ringside, I guarantee you that you will feel the wrath of THE BLACK MAN! DJ Slam: Word Life! The Black Man chump! You besta recognize! Or get CAUGHT UP! (Martin X and DJ Slam raises their fist in the air with defiance.) Martin X and DJ Slam: BLACK POWER! (Martin X and DJ Slam make their way to the back.) Dan: Well the members of Black Power not taken too kindly to the Confederate Flag. I don't think Rebel uses it to oppress The Black Man! He's just proud of his southern roots! Knick Man: Yeah, well you know how Martin X is. If you write with a blue pen as oppose to a black pen, you are oppressing the Black Man! I wish he would just take his Civil Rights wanna bee behind on outta here, before he get's HURT! Dan: Is that a threat, Knick Man? Knick Man: I don't make threats Dan. I make PROMISES! Dan: WOW! Excuse me! Anyway, standing by we have Reba Kola! Take it away Reba! (Reba Kola is standing in the ring waiting for the sold out Core State Spectrum crowd, to quite up a bit so she can speak.) Kola: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Saturday Night Heat!!! (The camera shows the ballistic crowd come to their feet and show off their signs for the AICW wrestlers. One sign in particular is focused on, it reads "The Ultimate A$$HOLE".) Kola: My guest at this time, will later on tonight get his first true test in the AICW...led to the ring by his bodyguard Blake Studwell...here is "The Ultimate Male"...Chris...Del Riooooo! (I Want your Sex by George Michael blares throughout the arena, as Blake Studwell and Chris Del Rio slowly make their way down to ringside. Del Rio leans to Blake, and points out a fan who is holding a sign out. Blake immediatly grabs the sign and rips it in two. As they walk away, the camera shows it was "The Ultimate A$$HOLE" sign they showed earlier. Del Rio and Studwell finally enter the ring, C-Licious is wearing some white tights that says "Enterprise" down the leg, and a flashy black robe that says "The Ultimate Male" on the back.) Del Rio: Reba...I can not even begin to fathom, what a complete thrill this is for you to interview the one and only...Ultimate Male! But I'm not here to give you something to fantasize about later tonight when your home alone...as usual! I've come out here to answer a few questions, and clear up a couple of matters at hand. Kola: Well Chris how about your match tonight with "Prime... Del Rio: If you would let me finish, I was about to address that. Michael Fulton...the side effects of the beating that Black Power gave you, apparently have not wore off. From what I hear, you said you were gonna make an example out of "The Ultimate Male". Well that my friend is something that will not happen! You seem to be paying a little more attention to Ice Cold, or whining over some title shot you believe you have earned. Well I'm sorry to tell you this son, but the last thing you'll be receiving is a title shot, after the way I totally dominate you later tonight! I'll be desposing of you quickly...with The Quickie! Kola: Now Chris, you have also been quite vocal about Byron Brady... (The Spectrum becomes defening just by the mere mention of Byron Brady's name.) Del Rio(shouting): All you morons here in Philadelphia need to shut the hell up, so I can speak. (The crowd quickly turns to boos, but is quite enough that The Ultimate Male can talk.) Del Rio: Reba, I have been coming out here and stating nothing but the truth, and it seems to have pissed off Mr. Brady. Well the truth hurts Byron...your gonna lose it all...your pride, dignity...your title... and to C-Licious, your woman! (The crowd begins to chant Byron, and it is getting to Chris Del Rio.) Del Rio(pissed off): Fulton your @$$ is mine...Blake lets go, this interview is over! (Del Rio then storms out of the ring and to the back, screaming at fans on the way.) Kola: Tonight we finally get to see if Chris Del Rio can prove himself against the big boys of the AICW, when he tangles with Michael "Primetime" Fulton. Back to you Dan! Dan: Chris Del Rio, very vocal as always! Let's go to the ring! (DING DING DING) Andy: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Chicago Illinois, weighing 220 pounds, SCOTTY RODMAN! Dan: Mr Rodman looking to make a name for himself in singles competition! Knick Man: Well with hair like that, he can forget about it! How can he even wrestle looking like that! Andy: And his opponent, from Toronto Ontario, Canada, weighing 255 pounds, DARON FOLEY! Dan: Daron Foley receiving a nice ovation from the crowd as he slaps the hands of many fans on the way to the ring. Knick Man: From what I hear about this Foley guy, he seems like he's got the goods! He's determined, and he has his mind on the goal at hand. Dan: Referee Ryan Gentle signaling for the bell and that match has begun! Pippen charges Foley, but Foley catches him coming in with a forearm to the head. Foley sends him to the ropes and nails him with a European Uppercut, knocking Pippen to the mat! Knick Man: Pippen getting too excited, and Foley knew exactly how to handle him! Dan: Foley picking him up and now he sends him to the ropes! Rodman comes back and a running lariet by Foley takes Rodman down the hard way! Foley with the cover..........one...........two..........kickout by Rodman! Knick Man: Foley doing very well thus far, taking control of this match! Dan: Foley picking him up again. Irish whip by Foley sends Rodman to the corner. Foley coming in and catches him with a running forearm. Foley with a knee to the gut! Rodman bending over in pain! Foley picks him up and GUT-WENCH SUPLEX BY FOLEY! Knick Man: Excellent move! Dan: Foley setting him up and The Dark Ride! Foley's got that submission move on tight and there's no place to go! Referee Ryan Gentle looking for the submission, and he's calling for the bell! (DING DING DING) Andy: The winner of the match, in the time of 1 minute and 43 seconds, DARON FOLEY! Dan: Daron Foley with a win on Saturday Night Heat! Knick Man: He looks impressive to me!
