If you remember, at the last pay-per-view, Seasons' Beatings: Violent Night, Byron Brady faced Legion. Now the stipulation was that if Brady won, he would get a World title shot at "The Demon" Kyle Bane. He won that match, therefore, I'm making the main event of New Year's Revolution an AICW World title match between the champion, Kyle Bane and the challenger, Byron Brady! Brady is hungry for revenge! Lord Awesome: That's right, he doesn't want the belt so much as he wants Kyle Bane's hide! The belt would be just a little icing on the cake. Kyle Bane had better be ready come the 25th! Dan: I can't wait to see that one! Fans, it's time for our MAIN EVENT! Let's go to Andy Burton! Andy: The following contest is our MAIN EVENT! It is scheduled for one fall and is for the AICW International Championship! First, now making his way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, weighing 350 pounds, ICE COLD! Dan: And the fans in Minneapolis are on their feet as Ice Cold makes his way to the ring. Look at the sweat pouring from his massive frame. This man is ready! Lord Awesome: This Ice Cold's a big mean intense sucker, no doubt about that. But his grasp of the English language is tenuous at best! Andy: And his opponent, from Little Italy in New York City, he is the leader of The Firm, weighing 245 pounds, the reigning AICW International Champion, "8-Ball" VIC GARIBALDI! Dan: And here comes Vic as he receives a mixed reaction from the crowd. The little kids are booing him, the ladies are cheering and the men are neutral. Lord Awesome: Well, we don't have too many Italians in our audience tonight...they love this guy over in New York. Dan: Vic Garibaldi taking his time as Ice Cold paces back and forth inside the ring. One thing about Vic is that he's so confident. He has the utmost confidence in his ability in the squared circle! Lord Awesome: That's one thing I like about this Vic Garibaldi. He's got this cool, casual manner about him. He doesn't get rattled too easily. That's why he's the International Champion. You've gotta stay focused to stay champion, and Vic's definitely sharp. Dan: Garibaldi finally in the ring and the bell sounds signifying the beginning of the match. "8-Ball" and Ice Cold staring each other down now. Vic jawing at Ice Cold and he just shoved the big man! And Ice Cold sends Vic flying into the corner with a massive shove of his own! Ice Cold hammering away on the champion. Irish whip to the corner and Cold comes running in NO! Vic able to move out of the way and Ice Cold hitting the corner hard. Lord Awesome: This guy Ice Cold, he's a big guy, but when you've got that much mass on ya you lose a lot of mobility. Dan: Vic Garibaldi with the single leg takedown and now he's working on that leg! Ice Cold with a 105 pound advantage over Vic, so he's going to have to keep the big man down on the mat. Cold able to kick Garibaldi off. Cold getting to his feet as the champ bounces to the ropes. Garibaldi runs smack into Ice Cold and Cold not even budging! Vic to the ropes again. He comes back and ICE COLD CATCHES HIM AND SLAMS HIM DOWN HARD TO THE MAT! Cold with the cover............one.. ..........two...............kickout by Garibaldi! Lord Awesome: Vic needs to get some leverage to take Cap'n Ebonics down. You try taking him down head on, you may as well be runnin' into a brick wall! Dan: Ice Cold setting him up, but Vic with the eye gouge to the face of Cold. Cold holding his eye as Garibaldi steps behind him. And Garibaldi slaps on a chicken wing on the big man! James Roma checking for the submission but Cold refusing to give up. Garibaldi applying more pressure! Ice Cold screaming out in pain, but he's not giving up Lord! Lord Awesome: Yes he is, he just can't form the words properly, is all! Somebody get him a speech therapist! Dan: Garibaldi releasing the hold now and takes Cold down in a wristlock armbar. Smart wrestling by Garibaldi keeping the big man off his feet. Ice Cold trying to break out of the manuever, but Vic has it on pretty tight. Vic applying more pressure, slowly wearing the big man down. Ice Cold now banging his free hand on the mat, in an attempt to the get the crowd into this match. Vic G still has that armbar on the big man, but the crowd starting to clap to the beat of Ice Cold's constant banging on the mat. Ice Cold now trying to crawl to the ropes. The crowd applauding loudly. Vic G trying to hold on. Ice Cold slowly reaching the ropes. Vic G still trying to apply more pressure, but Ice Cold reaches the ropes and referee James Roma forces him to release the manuever. Lord Awesome: Vic's done his damage, now he's just gotta follow through on it. Dan: Garibaldi getting up and a kick to the ribs of Ice Cold. Ice Cold now clutching his ribs and Garibaldi kicks him again. Ice Cold stumbles to the mat and now Vic G climbs up to the second ropes... Vic Garibaldi: FAHGETTABOUTIT! Dan: Garibaldi a little confident, don't you say Lord? Lord Awesome: Hey, when you're on top you can afford to be confident! He reminds me a lot of me! Dan: Garibaldi climbing down from off the ropes. He picks the big man up and tries to suplex him. Ice Cold blocking the manuever. Vic tries to go for it again, but Ice Cold able to block it again. And Ice Cold picking Vic G up and a belly-to-belly suplex by Ice Cold as both men are now on the mat! Lord Awesome: I'll give 'im credit, when it comes to power there aren't many who can match up with Ice Cold. But strength alone can't win you a match. I don't think he'll be able to follow through and capitalize on this advantage. Dan: Ice Cold on his feet as Vic G beginning to recover. Ice Cold grabbing Vic G and he slaps on a bearhug! Ice Cold has those huge arms around the big man! Vic G fighting for his life, but Ice Cold has it locked on right in the center of the ring. Ouch! Vic G with the eye gouge, and that's one way to escape a bear hug! Lord Awesome: Hey, when all else fails... Dan: The champ setting Ice Cold up and BEAUTIFULLY EXECUTED GERMAN SUPLEX BY GARIBALDI! He makes the cover, one....................... two........................Kickout again by Ice Cold! Vic taking the big man, and he sends him flying over the top rope onto the ringside floor! Vic G running to the ropes and HE CATCHES ICE COLD WITH A FLYING CLOTHESLINE! Ice Cold hitting the arena floor and that move took a lot out of both competitors! Lord Awesome: That's why they call them "high-risk" moves--but it's definitely a move that paid off for the "8-Ball"! Well done! Dan: James Roma making the count.............one................two.. ..................three...Vic G stirring.......four.....Vic G getting to his feet..........five....Ice Cold is moving.....six....Vic G rolls into the ring and rolls back out stopping the count. James Roma now going to the outside! Roma admonishing the champ, but Garibaldi paying him no attention. Vic G taking Ice Cold and an Irish whip into the steel steps! Ice Cold hit those steel steps real hard! And Garibaldi with a smirk on his face as Ice Cold stumbles to the floor! Lord Awesome: Too bad he didn't hit his head! Maybe that woulda knocked some sense into him! Dan: Vic G taking Ice Cold and he rolls him into the ring. Garibaldi going for the victory...........one................two............ THREE! NO! Ice Cold able to kick out of that! Where did he find that energy? Garibaldi picking Cold up and he puts him into the corner. Vic with a powerful knife edge chop! But Ice Cold doesn't even feel it! Vic with another chop! Again, uneffective! Ice Cold now with a chop, and another one, and another one sending the champion flying into the buckles! Ice Cold going over to the corner. He lifts Vic G up on the ropes and now he's hammering away as the crowd counts along..... one.... two.... three.... four.... five.... six.... seven.... eight.... nine.... ten! Lord Awesome: Good crowd we've got here! They can actually count all the way up to ten! Dan: Ice Cold climbing down and the weary Garibaldi just falls off the second ropes onto the mat! Cold now setting him up and an OVER-THE-SHOULDER STOMACHBREAKER by Ice Cold! What power by the big man and Vic Garibaldi is in serious trouble! Ice Cold picking him off the mat! A chop to the chest of Garibaldi! Ice Cold picks him up and POWERSLAMS him to the mat! We may have a new International Champion tonight! Lord Awesome: It ain't over yet! Dan: Ice Cold with the cover..............one............two......... THREE! NO! Vic able to get that right shoulder up! Ice Cold now in complete control and UH OH! Tom Corson is making his way from the back as the crowd boos loudly! Corson with a cold and calculating look on his face as he stares intently at Ice Cold taking notes! Ice Cold picking the champion up and BODY SLAMS him to the mat! Ice Cold looking up and he spots Tom Corson! Ice Cold inviting Corson to come into the ring, but Corson just continues to take notes. AND VIC G WITH THE ROLLUP...............ONE.............TWO..........THREE! NO! Ice Cold barely kicking out and a small smile on the face of Corson! Lord Awesome: That's the problem with Ice Cold. He's an idiot! He wants to get out there and "represent," he wants everybody to know what a big tough guy he is! That's why he'll never be a champion, because he can't focus on the task at hand! Dan: Ice Cold hammers Vic Garibaldi in the face and Garibaldi falls down to the mat! Ice Cold sends him to the ropes and OH NO! Referee James Roma just got nailed accidently by Vic! Cold catching Vic on the return and POWERSLAM BY ICE COLD! But James Roma is knocked out! Ice Cold on a roll now and picks Vic up and BACKBREAKER! The champ is in serious trouble!!!!!!!! Ice Cold setting the champ up and COOL AS ICE!!!!!!!!!!!! COOL AS ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S ALL OVER! Wait a minute!!!!!!!!! Corson just grabbed a chair and he's in the ring! He comes up behind Ice Cold and BOO-YA! Right across the head of Ice Cold! Cold falls to the mat! Corson takes the chair again and BAM! Right across the face of Cold! Corson now taking Garibaldi and he puts him on top of Ice Cold! And Corson is outta here! What injustice! Lord Awesome: If the ref didn't see it, it must be legal! Dan: James Roma beginning to come to and he's counting............... one..................two.................three!!!!!!!!! And Garibaldi has won it! Andy Burton: The winner of the match, and still the AICW International Champion "8-Ball" VIC GARIBALDI! Dan: The champ with another successful title defense tonight, although I'm not too sure he earned that victory... Lord Awesome: Hey, all's fair in love and war...and love this ain't!
