AICW Saturday Night Heat; November 29, 1997; America West Arena, Phoenix, Arizona Voice-over(Dan): This past Thursday, we celebrated Thanksgiving. It's a holiday of family , friendship , and especially...turkey! We asked our AICW superstars what they're thankful for. Here's what they had to say! The Egyptian Magician: I not Catholic! So, I not celebrate Thanksgiving! It is against my religion to be thankful for anything, so Egyptian Magician is thankful for nothing! Mr. X: Mr. X is thankful for Mr. X and nothing else! Mr. Y: What'm I thankful for? What's Mr. Y thankful for? I'll tell ya, I'm thankful for being the Supreme Master, and the Ruler of the Earth! Yeah, that's right, I'm so thankful I'm me! Yeah! And then, remember when I fought that Crow guy? Remember? Yeah, I'm thankful I didn't hurt him TOO bad! Yeah, and...and...let's see, what else am I thankful for... hold on, gimme a min... "8 Ball" Vic Garibaldi: I'm thankful that I'm in the AICW, where the competition's tough and I can't get enough! I'm also thankful for my Family and my friends...you know the drill. So have a safe Thansksgiving, AICW, so that you're 100% when I beat you in the ring. Blackjack Takahashi: Takahashi thankful that JAPAN make best cars in world! Erotic Erin : We are thankful that we do not talk, look or act like Sensuous Samantha and the Perfectly Perfect Duo! "Golden Boy" Johnny Smith: What am I thankful for this year? Hmmmmm.... well after that match...I'm thankful I have all my limbs and teeth in place. But seriously, I am thankful that I can go out there...come hell or high water.....and give the fans their money's worth every night. One thing I would most like to be thankful for is the one person in this federation that pushed me to my limits and doesnt know it. I know she watched earlier and saw me damn near win that damn belt. I'm thankful for ever having her im my life. Most of all...I'M thankful I am neither Martin X or Kyle Bane....not only would I HATE to look like them, but I'm thankful that I dont have a man like me chasing after my ass like a mad dog. That's what I am thankful for. Nicky De Niro: Nicky De Niro is thankful that God put bums like "Camel" Joe Banno and "8 Ball" Vic Garibaldi on this planet for me to kick around and torture. Legion: I'm thankful for my Master Kyle Bane, who is helping to free me from the pain and the torment that I have experienced in my lifetime! I'm thankful for getting the opportunity to hurt and kill people! I like hurting people! And finally, I'm thankful that my Master Kyle Bane is the AICW World Champion and that soon, very soon, I will be the next AICW International Champion, and we will rule this federation, and make all of you feel our agony, our pain, and our darkness! "Hot Stuff" Harry Huckleberry: I'm thankful for being the sexiest man alive, for having a body like this, and for having so many lovely women admirers who would give anything for just one ride on the Starship Huckleberry! Oh yeah, I am HOT STUFF, bay-beeee!!! El Aguila Negro: I'm thankful for all the opportunity I was given here in this great country, and here in the AICW. Viva Aguila! Crazy Clay Carter: I am thankful for being in the best wrestling organization in the world. I have wrestled all over the world and now I have hit the big time. I am thankful that I am as good a wrestler as I can be. I will be thankful of all the titles I plan to win. Mark McMahon: I'm thankful having pure wrestling talent. I'm thankful for the few people who agree with me that 90's wrestling doesn't amount to a hill of beans when compared with the old days. And one thing I'm VERY thankful for is being disowned by my egomaniacal, backstabbing father! Martin X: I'm thankful that The Black Man is superior to all other races! I'm thankful that I AM A TRUE BLACK MAN, unlike some of these SELL-OUTS, like that punk, Ice Cold! I'm thankful that I am a real man, unlike that gaylord Johnny Smith! And I'm thankful that I get to beat up on some WHITE HONKYS in the AICW! Now get this stinking camera out of my face! Ice Cold: Yo what up AICW! This is Ice Cold up in the house! I'm just thankful that God has blessed me to be able to participate in such an elite federation against the best talent in the wrestling world today. Peace, I'm out! Elvis: I'm thankful that God gave me this GORGEOUS head of hair! Oh yeah, and for my manager too! The Shogun of Harlem: I AM THE SHOGUN OF HARLEM AND I AM THE MASTER! "The Demon" Kyle Bane: I'm thankful for crowbars, Texas Death Matches, well-cooked spicy Italian pizza, syphilis, Hustler Magazine, Napalm, Armani suits, industrial music, sawed-off shotguns, New York City Mayor Rudy Guliani, and butterfly knives! Andy: Ladies and gentlemen, did Apocalypse '97 rock or what? Andy: Allow me to introduce to you, Dan "The Man" Chan, "Supersexy" Juan LaFon, and special guest Marv Halbert! Dan: Hello once again AICW fans! I cannot believe what happened at Apocalypse '97!!! What an event! Juan: It was SOOOOO long! We've got to do some editing....let's cut out most of Dan's lines! Dan: Ladies and gentlemen, our special guest tonight is Marv Halbert, former NCB and MGS commentator! This is his FIRST time doing wrestling! Marv, did you see Apocalypse '97 live on Pay-Per-View! Marv: YES!!! Hulk Hogan was successful in defending his WWFW crown once again! Dan: Uh...you're thinking about Wrestlemania...years ago.... Marv: YES!!! I saw it! Dan: Ummm....Marv, when was the last time you saw a WRESTLING Pay-Per-View? Marv: I believe it was....Wrestlemania.....THREE!!! That was last year! Dan: ...ok... Juan: This guy's in his own little, fairy world! Dan: Before we get to our first match, we'll have an exclusive interview with the FIRST EVER, AICW International Champion, "8 Ball" Vic Garibaldi!! Marv: YES!! Juan: NO!! Who the heck hired this reject?!! I bet it was that witch, Otero!! Only she could be so devious! Dan: Reba Kola is standing by! Reba: Thanks Dan, I'm here with "8 Ball" Vic Garibaldi! Vic, congratulations on winning the AICW International Championship! Tell us, what is next for Vic Garibaldi? Vic: Thanks, gorgeous. Well, now that I've shown everybody who the force is in the AICW, the idea is to defend my belt against anyone worthy, until the AICW brass thinks I have what it takes for a world title shot. That means Joe Banno, Blackjack Takahashi, hell, I'll fight Mr. Y if he can show me he's got what it takes to have this belt. Reba: Now, there have been rumors running rampant that you'll be forming The Firm here in the AICW. Is this true? Vic: I won't lie to you, Reba. It sounds like a good idea. I've just established myself as one of the big dogs here, and maybe a couple guys out there will understand how important it is to have a guy watch your back. That's why an old friend of mine just signed. You'll be hearing from Oswald Bates soon, I guarantee. As far as other members, I love a guy who can get in there and WRESTLE, you know? That's why I'm making my first offer to Byron Brady. I've seen this guy, and he has a hell of a lot of potential, but a guy like him can get swallowed up in a fed like this if he doesn't have representation. With any luck, it can be a mutually beneficial relationship. Reba: What do you think about Nicky De Niro's actions at the PPV last night? Vic: Truth? I think he was an imbecile. He had a lot of cojones for eliminating himself, but I don't think it was too bright of him. If it had been me against De Niro instead of Banno, things may not be as they are. But, if I have my facts straight, I walked out with the Intercontinental Belt, and he walked out with a gym bag. Reba: I believe that "Camel" Joe Banno is in line for a re-match. Some say that he was cheated by De Niro. What do you have to say about him? Vic: I don't know if he's in line for a rematch, dollface. He was the last man standing in that other ring, but only because De Niro didn't finish the job. I'll give him his match if he wants it, and I'll show you again why I'm the International Champion and he's not. Reba: Any other comments for us? Vic: I think I proved who the best man was the other night, I showed 19 other guys. Something like this could get me a lot of respect around here. Could I contend for world gold in the near future? I like my chances. And when the Firm is full strength, can anyone stand against us? Fahgettaboutit. Reba: There you have it ladies and gents, Vic Garibaldi! Dan: And thank you, Reba! Marv, what do you think about Mr. Garibaldi? Marv: Well, Dan...it's important to note that.. Dan: OH NO!! "Camel" Joe Banno just came out of the crowd and nailed Garibaldi from behind! He's pounding away! Get somebody out here to stop this! Vic now fighting back! Joe Banno and Vic Garibaldi are going toe-to-toe! Marv: You know, in basketball....this sort of thing doesn't happen. Dan: There brawling around the ring now! Right in front of us! OH! BOO-YAA!! Vic nails Banno with the belt! Banno now picking up my glass of water! Hey! Give that back! OH! JESUS! Vic just knocked the water out of Banno's hand and it spilled all over us! Marv: Don't worry, Dan! It's just water! Here Ms. LaFon! Juan: UGHHH! Get your hands off me you pervert! I'm getting out of here! I've got to ready Elvis for his match and I don't need to be bothered by you losers! Dan: Well it seems that Juan LaFon will not be with us tonight! Marv: It's a.....shame. Dan: Good thing that security is here to break up this fight! Thank God! We've got to take a commercial break! We'll be back with the match between Mr. Loverman and "The Ruler" Luis Valdez and hopefully, a replacement for "Supersexy" Juan LaFon! Stay with us!
