The club will make a roster move at that time to accommodate

In addition, the team announced today that 2nd baseman MARK
McLEMORE has been activated from the 15-day disabled list and
will be in uniform for tonights game with Arizona. McLemore was
placed on the D.L. on June 7 after pulling his left hamstring the

To make room for McLemore, lefthanded pitcher MATT PERISHO

The Rangers also announced that righthanded pitcher MARK
BRANDENBURG, who has missed the entire season due to
muscle problems in his chest wall and back, has been transferred
from the 15 to the 60-day disabled list. Texas also took two other
players on option off the major league roster, assigning infielder
FRANKIE JARAMILLO outright to Savannah of the South Atlantic
League and catcher JOEY GOODWIN outright to the Rangers of
the Gulf Coast League. Goodwin is currently serving as the
Rangers major league bullpen catcher.
The moves leave Texas with 37 players on the major league roster.
