College Highlights
In just three seasons as a starter, Irvin set Miami career records for catches (143), receiving yards (2,423) and TD receptions (26)...His 11 touchdowns in 1986 also set a Hurricane's record...In Miami's 1987 national championship season, Irvin caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the Orange Bowl win over Oklahoma.

Earned all-state honors at St. Thomas Aquinas High School...Irvin also won several slam dunk contests in the Florida area while in college...Michael comes from a family of 17 children...Irvin earned his degree in business management and has appeared in "Stay in School" posters...In previous training camps he has teamed up with Southwest Airlines to fly nearly 100 underprivileged children to St. Edwards University to spend a day with the Cowboys...He and his wife Sandi have two girls: Myesha and Chelsea and a son, Michael.
