*Denotes that Sue Schupack took over Carman-Ainsworth's team at 8 a.m. June 8 (the day of the Big Nine Conference tournament) when Cavaliers athletic director Bob Root suspended coach Doug Carey for the rest of the season. Carey was suspended for a series of behavioral problems that showed a lack of responsibility in directing the team. He was officially removed from his coaching position in June of 2003.
