Tidbits, Facts, and Information on Pi

Equations with Pi in it

Area of a circle = Pi * radius squared   (r^2)

Volume of a sphere = four thirds Pi radius cubed  (4/3*r^3)

e^(i*) + 1 = 0    (shown by Euler, i = square root of -1)

= x sin(180/x)  In degrees, not radians.  As x grows, Pi gets more accurate.

= 4(1/2)!^2

(+ 20)^i  ~  -1  (Pi plus 20 to i is almost equal to -1)

= 4 * (area of circle) / (area of square)

Nearly Pi

10^(1/2)

cube root of 31

666/212

10/

(97 + (9/22))^(1/4)

(9/5) + (9/5)^(1/2)

1.1 * 1.2 * 1.4* 1.7

(296/167)^2
