-Stone Cold Steve Austin came right out and was interviewed by Kevin Kelly. He cut him off immediately and told Vince that he couldn't "mold or break Steve Austin." He added that the "single, most-important" thing for him right now is to beat Shawn at WM14. He admitted that it would be the "toughest match in my life." Kevin Kelly then said that DX will be in "full force" tonight, and Austin asked, "Does that mean I'm not?" Austin took it as an insult, but gave Kelly a break. He mentioned he had the night off tonight so he could wait for DX to arrive. Commissioner Slaughter came out and told Austin that he didn't have the night off after all, and ordered (from Vince) that Austin must face The Rock tonight. Austin agreed to, but Slaughter added for no reason, "If you don't wrestle tonight, the WM14 match will be NON-TITLE!!" Austin took it as an insult and he kicked and gave Slaughter a Stone Cold Stunner.

-Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie Vs. The Quebecers The match wasn't much of anything, and was interrupted by the New Age Outlaws, who set up a little party on the rampway. As soon as Cactus & Chainsaw were on a roll, Billy Gunn ran down and attacked Cactus to cause a blatant DQ. Billy hit Chainsaw with a bucket and then the he nailed Chainsaw on the head with a table. Then, the Outlaws spike-piledrived Cactus Jack on a chair.

-SLAM OF THE WEEK: HBK's Chin Music on Austin two weeks ago

-Double J Jeff Jarrett Vs. Steve Blackman Poor Blackman. He was on his way to continuing his undefeated streak in this match, but Tennessee Lee had a different idea. Steve had Jarrett on the top, and he went for a superplex. Lee tripped Blackman so that JJ fell on top of Blackman, and then Lee held Blackman's leg down for the 1-2-3. Blackman's undefeated record is ended by a darn country singer! A 2nd ref came out and argued with the 1st, but then JJ pushed them into each other. Blackman attacked JJ from behind and then chased Lee away.

-The WWF announced that D-Generation X will hold a public workout this Thursday in Boston at the Faneuil Hall Marketplace starting at 12 noon. Footage will be shown this Saturday morning on Livewire.

-Speaking of DX, they arrived in the back in "full force."

-The Undertaker had an interview at his parents' gravesite. He didn't say anything earth-shattering, but asked for their forgiveness for his having to face Kane at WM14.

-KANE came out with Paul Bearer, and Paul told UT's brother to "Show them what you can do." Kane then set off some fireworks at the top of the arena, and the crowd booed since it was a rather cheap effect. Kane then caused lightning to strike the broadcast table, shorting out J.R. and Cole's television sets. Kane then blew up a spotlight. Finally, he caused lightning to strike a ringside attendant/crew member and he was actually on fire! He ran up to the top of the ramp where other crew members put him out with fire extinguishers. The person was taken to the back on a stretcher.

-8-Ball & Skull Vs. The New Midnight Express This set-up match for the 15-team WM battle royal set the stage for pure chaos. 8-Ball started with a spinebuster on Bart Gunn. The Headbangers then walked out, followed by The Rock 'n' Roll Express. In the ring, Bart atomic-dropped Skull and then Bob Holly clotheslined him. Sniper & Recon came out next (They are no longer with the Truth Commission), and so did Savio Vega & Miguel Perez of the Boricuas. The Quebecers followed as well. Jesus & Jose of the Boricuas were the final team to show up, and then a fight broke out between the Bangers & Sniper & Recon. Soon enough, the brawl spread to the ring and caused a double-DQ. Cornette took the Midnight Express out quickly so they weren't involved in the mess. (The winners of the battle royal will face the tag champs at the April IYH.)

-WAR ZONE Hosted by:Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler

-D-Generation X came out, and Triple H started by showing footage of his European title victory last week over Owen Hart. (By the way, announced over the weekend, a stipulation has been added to the HHH-Owen title match at WM14: Chyna will be handcuffed to Com. Slaughter. How fun that must be.) HBK then pointed out a woman who had a shirt with the letters "DX" on her breasts. Shawn asked, "Do you have two nipples for a dime?" HHH joked, "Are you double or triple DX?" Shawn then said to the crowd, "For those ladies who look good out there, that's a skank, and we realize that." HBK then called the Vince-Austin highlights of the past few weeks the "world's biggest pinch-fight." Shawn said he didn't care what Vince thought and then told Austin to forget Vince and "Stunning Slaughter for the 100th time" and concentrate on his match at WM14. Mike Tyson said he would knock Austin out if he gets in his way at WM. Shawn finished with, "DX, from now until we say differently, will forever rule the WWF!"

-Yet another stipulation added to WrestleMania this one for the Rock-Shamrock IC match at WM14, if The Rock is disqualified, then he DOES lose the IC title.

-Faarooq Vs. Chainz When Faarooq came out, he told the NOD to stay back, saying he didn't need them for this match. He was right. The Nation leader tore Chainz apart. Still, The Rock came out with a chair to ringside. Faarooq nailed Chainz with a spinebuster, and The Rock got in the ring. He was going to hit Chainz, but Faarooq told him not to. Faarooq started to go for the Dominator, but then The Rock swung the chair and nailed Faarooq in the head. The ref disqualified Chainz, and The Rock didn't seem to care, but pretended to be sorry and that it was a mistake. The NOD came out to help Faarooq out and to the back.

-Justin Hawk Bradshaw Vs. Barry Windham The Rock 'n' Roll Express appeared in the crowd and took some ringside seats, mainly to distract Cornette. Bradshaw came right out and started whipping Windham with his jacket. Outside, Bradshaw whipped Barry into the post and then kicked him in the face. Back in, Windham tripped Bradshaw with his own jacket, but Bradshaw got up and forearmed Barry hard. He followed with two vicious clotheslines in the corner. Bradshaw went for the lariat but Barry ducked and then nailed Bradshaw with a DDT. Barry followed with a nice back suplex. The Express started distracting both Cornette and Windham, and Bradshaw took advantage by rolling up his former partner for the pinfall. An angry Windham attacked Bradshaw and the Midnight Express came out to help. Barry delivered a lariat on Bradshaw, and the Rock 'n' Roll Express came back out but were too late.

-Sable came out with Marc Mero to accept an award from WWF magazine editor Vince Russo, a.k.a. Vic Venom. Sable and Sunny's January swimsuit issue was the most-selling issue of RAW magazine. Sunny couldn't be there since she was "under the weather," so Sable accepted the plaque and thanked the fans for buying the issue. Mero had left earlier, saying he would let Sable have her own moment (for once). Luna & Goldust came out and Luna grabbed the plaque and nailed Sable in the forehead with it and then she tore Sable's evening gown. Mero came out after the officials had gotten Luna & Dust away, and he said to Dust, "You're a dead man!" He then blamed Vince Russo for not doing anything.

-It was announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be on Live with Regis & Kathie Lee this Friday morning. Be sure to catch it, as Regis & Kathie Lee has always done a great job of promoting pro wrestling.

-Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. The Rock Rocky Maivia This ordered non-title match was one of Austin's first since Summerslam. The NOD was out, but Faarooq apparently had a concussion from The Rock's earlier chair shot. J.R. said Faarooq might not even make it to Wrestlemania. The two started with a collar-and-elbow tie-up and backed into the corner. Austin provided a clean break, plus two middle fingers in Rocky's face. (DX was shown watching in the back.) Later, The Rock gave Austin the middle finger and Stone Cold responded with some punches. The Rock came back with a clothesline but then the two got in a fistfight. Austin broke out of it with a Lou Thesz press followed by an elbowdrop. He then kicked Rocky but the IC champ got away before Austin could do the Stunner. The Rock went outside, so Austin simply clotheslined Mark Henry. Austin then whipped Rocky into the steps before tossing him back in. The Rock went back outside, so Austin grabbed a chair and started taunting the Nation. The Rock came from behind and dropped Austin on the guardrail. Back in, The Rock pushed the ref and they got an argument, which allowed Mark Henry to pummel Austin in the corner. After a commercial break, Austin slapped a sleeperhold on Rocky, but he got out of it. He slammed Austin and then performed his delayed elbowdrop. The Rock then gave Austin two middle fingers and went for the elbow again, but Austin moved. Austin nailed The Rock with 3 clotheslines and then the kick and the Stone Cold Stunner for the 1-2-3. D-Lo Brown ran in with a chair, only to be kicked and given the Stunner too. DX's music began playing, and they came out on the ramp. Shawn said to Austin, "This Sunday, I will turn your lights out for the last time." Austin then told Shawn to come down there right now and gave the gang a middle finger. Shawn took off his jacket and started walking toward the ring, but Triple H decided to hold him back and told him to wait for WM14. Then the show ended.
