The entire Nation of Domination accompanied Mark Henry down to the ring for his match against Ken Shamrock. The World's Most Dangerous Man knows that a five-against-one advantage is hard for even him to overcome, so he brought Ahmed Johnson and the D.O.A with him. It didn't take long for all ten men to get in the ring and battle it out. It has been announced that these two teams will meet in a "War of Attrition" at No Way Out!
In a Royal Rumble re-match, Vader took on the Artist Formerly Known as Goldust. The Bizarre One made his way to the ring emulating the Mastodon's ring attire by painting his face with likeness of Vader's mask and wearing black tights covered with a red teddy. Vader was in command of the match, when suddenly the lights dimmed and Kane appeared! The younger brother of the Undertaker went in the ring, but the Rocky Mountain Monster did not back down! He delivered a pile driver to the monstrous Kane, but the seven footer got right back up and returned the favor--and Vader stayed down!
In Light Heavyweight action, Brian Christopher took on Pantera, with the winner earning the right to face the champion, Taka Michinoku, at No Way Out. "Too Sexy" was in full command of this match when he went up to the top rope to deliver some "Tennessee Jam" and earn the victory. Pantera was able to roll out of the way, forcing Christopher to come crashing down right on the mat. The masked superstar then pulled off the upset by rolling him up for the pin.
The NWA North American Champion, Jeff Jarrett, teamed up with Jim Cornette's newest recruit, Barry Windham to take on the Legion of Doom. As the official had his back turned, Cornette threw Windham his tennis racket. The former Blackjack immediately slammed it over Animal's back, allowing him to record the victory.
A pair of former Federation Tag Team champions locked up when the Headbangers took on the Quebecers. Pierre went up to the top rope as Jacques had Mosh in position for a spike pile driver. Thrasher was able to get to Jacques before he jumped, forcing him to fall in a compromising position on the rope. Mosh then reversed the hold and recorded the pinfall.
Last week Triple H challenged Owen Hart to a shot at the European title. Despite being injured, HHH assured the Black Hart that he was prepared to "flush him down south" where he belongs. However, DX's music came on and the Artist Formerly Known as Goldust was dressed up as Hunter! Luna sported the black hair and mean scowl of Chyna! This only further enraged Owen, and he scored the victory when the "Hunter-Dust" submitted in the Sharpshooter. After the match, DX appeared on the TitanTron to bask in the success of their latest prank. Commissioner Slaughter made his way to the ring to laugh it up with them, and to let Hunter know that he made a "judgment call" and decided that since HHH issued the challenge and then let someone else fight for him, it was a sanctioned title match. Owen Hart was crowned the new European Champion! Credit:www.WWF.com
