Following the match, a disgruntled Jarrett told Michael Cole, "Maybe it's time Cornette and I went our separate ways."
Attempting to send a message to the Jackyl, Recon and Sniper refused to tag Kurrgan into their six-man tag match with the DOA. After having seen enough, the seven-foot monster grabbed Recon and forced a tag. Withstanding a double- team from Skull and 8-Ball, Kurrgan was able to apply the 'Paralyzer' and record the pin. Following the match, Jackyl confronted Recon and Sniper about their refusal to recognize Kurrgan. After a brief encounter, Sniper tried to strike the leader but Kurrgan was there to stop him. The monster put his mutinous brethren in the 'Paralyzer' and carried him back to the locker room.

Taking control of his Federation, Commissioner Slaughter replaced Cornette's appointed NWA official with a WWF one for the NWA Tag Team Title match between the Headbangers and the Rock N' Roll Express. Looking to 'help' his team, Cornette wound up with the racket and hit Thrasher across the back, knocking him down-right on top of Ricky for the three count! The Headbangers are the new NWA Tag Team Champions!
Owen Hart successfully defended his European Title over Marc Mero. As Marvelous Marc was locked in the Sharpshooter, the official called for the bell, disqualifying Mero for attacking him moments earlier. Following the match, Luna stormed the ring to reach Sable. The two incensed females had to be restrained by their male counterparts. Seeing that the Artist Formerly Known as Goldust helped to protect Sable while he was on the ground, Mero became enraged and attacked the superstar he had been teaming with.
