The program openned with short clip from last weeks RAW where Stone Cold Steve Austin (SCSA) hit WWF Owner Vince McMahon with a Stunner after McMahon told him he had to "clean up his act." It also showed him being arrested for it. This was followed by the regular RAW opening.

Jim Ross and Michael Cole were at the announcers desk and gave some of the matches on the card. Ross said that Farooq had been "ambushed" earlier in the day and that we would see footage related to it later. He also said that Luna would meet a male in the first mixed-gender match in WWF history.

McMahon came to the ring amid chants of "Austin, Austin.." He said he had SCSA arrested last week and it was the toughest thing he had ever had to do in his professional career, adding he had SCSA released out of "benevolence." He went on to say "none-the-less, SCSA had learned his lesson, and learned it the hard way. No longer would he be a beer-swilling, hand-gestering, blue-collar WWF Champion. Tonight could be the proudest in my WWF career." He promised that we would see a new SCSA tonight. He closed with a "guarantee of a new SCSA or your money back." He left to more chants of "Austin, Austin.."

The first match was Dan "The Beast" Severn, NWA Heavyweight Champion, who was accompanied by his Manager James Cornette v. Flash Funk. Prior to the match we saw a short video history of Severn's background, including this winning the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He carried several of his Championship Belts to the ring, including The UFC Super Fight and the Ultimate-Ultimate Championship. The match was all Severn and he won with an Arm Bar Submission in very short order.

We saw Degeneration-X (DX) in the locker room area on their way to the ring. HHH, Chyna, X-Pac and The New Age Outlaws, Bad @$$ Billy Gunn and Road Dog were all there.

Ross said that Farooq may have suffered "career-ending injuries" when he was ambushed. He also said Shawn (HBK) Michaels was at home recuperating from various injuries and that when asked about the restructure of DX, said "No comment."

DX came to the ring. HHH said "last week he promised a revolution, a change, an army." Road Dog introduced NAO as the WWF Tag Team Champions. He called NAO joining DX a marriage that has combined the youngest and the most capable athletes in the business. X-Pac said "If you came to see grumpy old men, you came to the wrong place." HHH said that the WWF wanted a war and they got one. DX closed with a joint two words from all.."Suck it."

DX was seen backstage harassing a stagehand. They roughed him up and spray painted DX on him and then on everything else iin the area.

The next match was Steve "The Lethal Weapon" Blackman v. Brian "Too Sexy" Christopher. Prior to the match, Blackman gave a demonstration with his Filipino Sticks, and when Christopher came to the ring he mocked Blackman's demo. Blackman made him pay for it. Tennessee Lee, Promoter of Double J, came to the announcers desk and gave us the suprise he had promised last week. He said that C&W Stars Mark Miller and Sawyer Brown would be at the next WWF PPV Unforgiven and play/sing backup for Double J, in a performance he will give. Lee distracted Blackman allowing Christopher to take control. Lee left and Blackman regained control of the match, winning with an Arm Bar Submision Hold. Lee came back out and introduced Double J. As Blackman waited Double J's arrival, Double J came into the ring from behind and knocked Blackman out by smashing a Guitar over his head. Double J called it "a smash hit."

DX was seen backstage, where they had found the motorcycles belonging to The Disciples Of Apocalypse (DOA). HHH dared NAO and X-Pac to "whiz" on the cyles. They did behind a "DX Censored" sign.

Cactus Jack came to the ring carrying a steel chair. A clip from last weeks tag team championship cage match between Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie/Terry Funk v. NAO was shown. In it Funk was chained to the cage and Jack was crowned with a chair. Jack said that Funk had wrestled hurt and now was home resting, adding he had to be badly hurt for him to miss a match. He went on to say that as he lay in the ring, all he heard was cheers for SCSA, and none for him or Funk as the program ended. He also said that when he arrived in the WWF as Mankind, all he heard was demands for Cactus Jack and so gave the fans what they wanted, and this was how he was repaid. He gave the crowd a chance to apologize and there was silence. He closed by saying that "after 13 years, it wasn't worth it anymore, and it will be a long time before you see Cactus Jack anymore," and he left.

We next saw a clip from last week of the confrontation between Farooq and Rocky "The Rock" Maivia, that ended with Farooq being attacked by the entire Nation Of Domination (NOD), Di-Lo Brown, Kama Mustapha and Mark Henry. The Rock announced that he was the "Ruler of NOD."

This was followed by a video shot earlier in the day by the NOD. It showed Farooq arriving at the arena and being severely beaten by all of the NOD. Ross again said he suffered potential career ending injuries. It ended with The Rock standing over Farooq and telling him that he was "The Ruler of NOD."

The NOD came to the ring for The Rock's Inter-Continnental Title defense v. Owen "The Black Hart". The crowd chanted "Rocky sucks" as he came to the ring. As the match got underway, Kama grabbed Hart's leg and the referee banished NOD from ringside. The match was an excellent one and was fairly even until Hart managed to apply The Sharpshooter. Chyna stormed into the ring and hit Hart in the back with a baseball bat, causing him to break the hold, saving the title for The Rock, who was DQ'd as a result. The rest of DX was at the top of the ramp and laughed about what happened. Chyna left the ring and walked past DX, dropping the bat as she went by, giving them an apparent cold shoulder.

The second hour began with Ross joined by Jerry "The King" Lawler at the announcers desk.

McMahon came to the ring accompanied by two police officers. He introduced "The new and improved WWF Champion. SCSA," who came to the ring wearing a suit and his baseball cap. McMahon gloated as SCSA got into the ring with him. He talked about the meeting the two of them had about SCSA's attitude. He said SCSA looked good, but wanted to know why he was wearing his wrestling boots rather than the Gucci shoes he was given. SCSA said the shoes were too tight and asked to be cut some slack because he was really trying. McMahon removed SCSA's hat and threw it into the crowd..SCSA didn't look too happy about it. McMahon asked the crowd for their approval of SCSA's new look and got a round of boos. He asked SCSA when he saw the light and SCSA said when he was in his jail cell, he thought "what kind of chance did he have to compete with McMahon."
He asked himself "if you think you can beat McMahon, give yourself a 'Hell, yeah' (he got a loud one from the crowd), but he got a 'Hell, no" (the crowd booed), as he cited McMahon's power. He then asked one of the police officers to take a picture of him and McMahon with a camera he brought with him (Get ready folks, here it comes). After the officer took the picture, he said "the old SCSA would probably tell you to take this camera and shove it up your @$$" (the crown went wild). He then told McMahon to get the film developed because it was "the absolute last time you'll ever see SCSA wear a ridulous suit," as he began to tear the suit off. He told McMahon he is "a redneck from south Texas and ain't gonna change for nobody. What you see is what you get." He reminded McMahon of his old saying, "DTA..Don't Trust Anybody." He went on to tell McMahon he wanted him to "bow down for SCSA," and as he said it, he hit McMahon in his privates, causing him to double over. SCSA took the opportunity to take a picture of McMahon in this position, wincing in agony (the crowd again went wild). SCSA said he "don't change for anybody. What you see is what you get." He left to chants of "Austin, Austin.."McMahon watched him leave, with a look that could kill. He then left, walking very gingerly with the two police officers alongside (for all the help they were).

DOA (8-Ball, Skull and Chainz) came to the ring and dared DX to meet them "if you have the balls."

We saw a clip from last week of Luna challenging Sable to an Evening Gown Match at Unforgiven. This was followed by the mixed-gender match pitting Luna, who was accompanied by The Artist Formerly Known As Golddust (TAFKAG), v. Matt Knowles. Prior to the bell, TAFKAG kicked the crap out of Knowles. When the bell rand, Luna finished the job, pinning him after a Flying Head Butt to Knowles privates.

We next saw Val Venis, who is coming to the WWF, talking to the ladies about his latest movie, "As Hard As it Gets."

Ross said DX has accepted the challenge made by DOA and will meet tonight.

The next match pitted Marvelous Marc Mero (MMM), accompanied by Sable (a 12 on a scale of 1-10) v. Ken Shamrock. When they got to the ring, MMM chased Sable back to the locker room. MMM started fast using his boxing skills. Shamrock came back and the match was fairly even. Shamrock blocked an attempt at the TKO by MMM and delivered a Belly-To-Belly Suflex. The NOD came to the ring and Shamrock got a chair and chased them out. With his attention on The Rock, Shamrock didn't see Mark Henry come up from behind. Henry used a Belly-To-Belly Suflex to put Shamrock down. The entire NOD pummeled Shamrock with several big power moves. The Rock taunted Shamrock saying it was "the Dawn of a New Era, a New Nation and New Domination" and kicking him until he was saved by WWF officials.

The lights went out and The Undertaker came to the ring to talk to Kevin Kelly. The 'Taker said that at Wrestlemania, Kane found out that he was not just his brother, but also The Lord Of Darkness. The 'Taker acknowledged that Kane had beaten him worse than anyone had ever done, but he had won and that was because he was "just." Asked about Paul Bearer's challenge for an Inferno Match at Unforgiven, The 'Taker said that no matter where the flames were, in or out of the ring, he would win and set Kane on fire and send him to Eternal Damnation. Kane and Bearer appeared on the TitanTron from the graves of Kane and The 'Takers parents. Bearer accused The 'Taker of "murdering" their parents in the fire that they died in. Kane took a sledge hammer and destroyed their parents' tomb stones. He then poured gasoline on their graves and set them afire. The 'Taker was dismayed.

The final match of the program was a 6-Man tag team match pitting DX (DOA and HHH), with X-Pac and Chyna, v. DOA (8-ball, Skull and Chainz). X-Pac joined the announcers and said everything he said last week was true. DOA started fast, however, DX came back strong. The match erupted into a free-for-all, in the ring and out on the floor. HHH hit Chainz with a Pedigee to win the match. The Road Dog crowned Skull with a chair out on the floor; X-Pac brought a chair into the ring and clocked Chainz with it twice; Chyna nailed Chainz; HHH blasted 8-Ball with a chair.
Bad @$$ hit Chainz with a Pile Driver onto a chair. DX then dragged him out to the floor and tied him to the top rope. As they prepared to take him apart like they did to Chainsaw Charlie last week, LOD 200 charged in and saved Chainz. A major free-for-all was underway as the program ended.
