WWF Raw is War Report for April 27, 1998
Hosted by Jim Ross, Michael Cole, and Jerry Lawler
Live from Hampton, Virginia

We saw some pre-recorded comments from D-Generation X. They were dressed in army gear, and joked around with their supplies. Hunter Hearst Helmsley told his "troops" they would invade WCW, who were holding their show 15 minutes away from the WWF.

Owen Hart and Ken Shamrock vs. Rocky Maivia and Mark Henry w/Kama and D-Lo Brown resulted in a No Contest.
Before this match started, Owen Hart surprisingly attacked Ken Shamrock for no apparent reason. The Nation of Domination and Owen Hart joined forces to take out Shamrock's ankle, hitting it with a chair, and strapping him in the Sharpshooter. Steve Blackman and Faarooq came in to help out Shamrock, but were out-numbered by the N.O.D. WWF officials came in to break up the mayhem. Officials had a rough time making Owen Hart and Nation of Domination leave the ring, because they continued their attack on Ken Shamrock, Faarooq, and Steve Blackman. Owen Hart was even able to get a chunk of Shamrock's ear.

Dude Love Interview.
Dude Love once again held his interview in the "Love Shack" and was accompanied by two women. Love talked about his world title match with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Je basically wanted the world title in his hands. He suggested to have a re-match with Austin, have a tournament, or possibly fire Steve Austin and give him the title.

We saw D-Generation X's WCW assault once again, but this time, they were at the Norfolk Scope, where WCW was holding Monday Nitro. Hunter Hearst Helmsley changed "WCW sucks" on a megaphone (used it the entire time), and apparently fired a shot from the tank DX arrived in.

DX continued their assault on WCW. They questioned some fans whether WCW or WWF was better, and who is the most powerful group in professional wrestling today. A fan, who was at the Norfolk Scope to watch Nitro, answered with WWF and D-Generation X.

Too Cold Scorpio and Terry Funk defeated The Headbangers and by Disqualification.
Before this match, we saw Vince McMahon, along with Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco enter the arena. WWF also announced the winner of this match would receive a tag team title shot. In this match, action was continuous, with all four wrestlers in the ring at all times. After Thrasher shoved the referee, the referee disqualified the Headbangers, leaving Scorpio and Funk to get a tag team title shot. Both tag teams continued to battle it out, even though the match had already been thrown out.

In some more exclusive footage ov DX's assault on WCW, DX was trying to get into the Norfolk Scope.

Vince McMahon Interview.
Vince McMahon announced he has suffered a concussion, due to Stone Cold Steve Austin's attack on him at In Your House: Unforgiven. McMahon said he would not fire Austin, because he had other plans. McMahon announced Stone Cold Steve Austin would defend his WWF title against Goldust later in the show, with Gerald Brisco as the special referee. McMahon stated if Austin attacks Brisco in anyway, he will be fired immediately and stripped of the WWF title. Brisco said he would not be afraid of Austin, since McMahon added the "don't touch Gerald Brisco" stipulation. McMahon finished things off by saying, anyone would be better as the WWF champion, than Stone Cold Steve Austin, including Goldust. Stone Cold Steve Austin was in the back of the locker room area, very upset.

DX was trying to get into the Norfolk Coliseum once again, but WCW purposely closed the doors.

Bradshaw defeated Jeff Jarrett by Disqualification.
Jeff Jarrett walked out with a fantastic entrance, getting an introduction by his promoter, Tennessee Lee and with a sparklying "J.J." above the Titan Tron. As Bradshaw started to get the advantage on Jeff Jarrett, Club Kamikazie, along with a new manager, attacked Bradshaw. Bradshaw was then announced the winner by Disqualification. Taka Michinoku tried to take out Club Kamikazie, but ended up to recieve a beating himself.

Dude Love was in the back locker room area upset that Goldust was receiving a title shot and not him. McMahon confronted Dude Love, and asked him what the problem was. As Dude Love was complaining, McMahon told Kevin Kelly and the cameraman to back off.

D-Generation X Interview.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley started things off by making fun of WCW's main event ring announcer, Michael Buffer. The New Age Outlaws then arrived in scooters. The interview then turned into a match, after D.O.A. and LOD 2000 made their way down to the ring

In a non-title match, Skull and 8-Ball defeated The New Age Outlaws via Pinfall.
The New Age Outlaws could of had the win, after Billy Gunn executed a piledriver. However, behind Billy Gun's and the referee's back, Skull and 8-Ball (twins) switched positions. Skull then jumped out of Gunn's pin, and rolled up Billy Gunn for the pin. LOD 2000, Sunny, and D.O.A. left, taunting D-Generation X

The Undertaker defeated Barry Windham with the Tombstone.
Barry Windham was not accompanied by any of Jim Cornette's NWA group. The Undertaker easily finished off Barry Windham with the Tombstone. Undertaker then ordered Kane to come down to the ring, because the two brothers have not finished their buisness. Kane, who was wearnig an arm bandage, and Paul Bearer, who had a band-aid on his forehead, came out, and standed under the Titan Tron. Bearer demanded a truce, because things have went too far. Bearer then admitted he is Kane's father.

Goldust Interview.
Goldust said he deserves his title shot with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and thinks he will be a succesfful winner. Out of nowhere came Dude Love, attacking Goldust. Goldust recieved some help from Luna, and WWF officials broke up the fight.

D-Generation X interview.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley challenged someone to take him on for the European title. At first, 8-Ball came out, but Dan Severn decided to fight him instead. Jim Cornette tried to stop Severn, but was unsuccessful. Severn attacked Cornette, and placed him in a choke hold. A match with the European title on-the-line never happened.

Stone Cold Steve Austin Interview.
Kevin Kelly questioned Stone Cold Steve Austin on his world title match with Goldust, that would take place later in the show. Austin basically said no one would "screw" him out of the WWF title, no matter what Vince McMahon attempts to do.

We saw another promo from Val Venis.

Marc Mero Interview.
Mero first ordered Sable to come down to the ring, and she did so. Mero and Sable argued once again over who should get the spotlight. Sable then challenge Marc Mero to a match. It was fine with Mero, and Sable said she would be ready in two weeks.

Vince McMahon and Gerald Brisco were in the back, getting along very well.

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Goldust w/Luna went to a No Contest.
Before this match, Vince McMahon held onto the WWF World title and took the timekeeper's place. The match turned out to be very physical, with Vince McMahon anxious to ring the bell, and Gerlad Brisco helping out Goldust. When Austin hit the Stone Cold Stunner on Goldust, Gerald Brisco went for the pin, but supposedly got something caught in his eye. Dude Love then came in, and him and Austin battled it out, without Gerlad Brisco calling anything. Vince McMahon then tried to nail Austin with the belt, but his Brisco instead. Brisco started to bleed. Vince McMahon was very upset, while the show went off the air, with no winner announced.
