• Sadly, this site isn't intended to 'jump-start' new boards or 'rehabilitate' old ones.  This site lists only ESTABLISHED boards that receive substantial post volume.  This site was intended to allow visiting fans of other schools to visit boards with a reasonable expectation that they could find daily information, and if they desire to post, that their thoughts would be heard and responded to by many (if that were the intention) preferably within a day or less.  If you happen to think that this policy stinks, and is slanted against the newbies... I'm sorry.  This was one of the primary reasons for creating this board.
• This is where the relative post volume is considered.  Not all boards are going to get, or are expected to get, the volume of say the Virtual Swamp (which gets over 300 posts on most days... and just happens to be my 'Home Board').  This is just one example.  There are several boards that receive high volume such as that of VS.  Running with this example, in order for another board to be listed for Florida, it MUST receive a considerable amount of posts itself.  A minimum guideline would be 20 posts per day.  This same example can be applied to FSU, Michigan, PSU, OSU, etc. who ALL have the same situation.
• In cases of schools whose most active board doesn't receive extremely high volume, there are a different set of guidelines.  3-5 posts per day is pretty much a minimum.  If a site doesn't get about 20 posts a week, it doesn't stand much of a chance of being listed.  This is the lower bound of the "active" requirement.
• A site that hasn't received a post in over a week, or a month... no way will it be listed.  It won't even be listed if there aren't any other boards listed for that site.  For those who want to wade through the vast number of boards out there, some of which might get little volume, I direct you to the fantastic and thorough sites, Message Board Central and the College Sports Switchboard, both of which can be reached from the ACTIVE NCAA Football Boards page.  Like I keep saying, this site is for active boards only.
• A MAXIMUM OF THREE BOARDS PER SCHOOL WILL BE LISTED. In cases where schools' posters are spread across several boards, only the three boards with the most post volume will be listed. Of course, all boards must still conform with the above requirements.
• I do consider the "Summer" factor as well.  However, even over the Summer, The lower bound of post volume should still be attained.
• I don't care how many hits your board/site gets, so save your breath.  It's not at all relevant to anything.  The bottom line is a) how many posts are there from fans, and b) does it appear that there are more than just two people chit-chatting with one another.
• These requirements are always under review.  All sites will be reviewed periodically and erased if they don't conform to the "active" requirement.

And to the Newbies... you may think I'm a jackass for not putting your new boards on this site in order to get some traffic started on them.  When I later put your board up when it gets going, you may be resentful of me and this site and not even want to be linked.  I will link your board even against your wishes if it's an active board.  Even if you send me nasty e-mails.  I don't care.  I'm not in this to make any friends.  That's what people want.  They just want the boards.  I hope this isn't the case and that you all understand the idea of this site, its focus, and that it makes people's lives a lot easier.

Most importantly... this is just an insignificant little web page I threw together for my own enjoyment.  After I was done, I figured others might find it useful as well, so I spread the word to the boards I had listed.  From the enormous amount of positive feedback I've received, it seems I may have been correct.  I'm a nobody.  If I don't list your board, you shouldn't lose any sleep over it.  I'm just your average Joe with a little rinky-dink web page.
