I. Rosters
A. Active Roster
1. 3 QB
2. 6 RB
3. 6 WR
4. 2 TE
5. 2 K
6. 2 DT
Note: Active rosters cannot exceed the above limits between
the first game of the fifth week of the NFL regular season
and the end of the last NFL regular season game.
B. Weekly Roster
1. 1 QB
2. 2 RB
3. 3 WR
4. 1 TE
5. 1 K
6. 1 DT
Note: Weekly rosters must be submitted before the first NFL
game of the week. You may make a change in your line-up after Thursday games as long as the Thursday NFL games do not impact your roster. If you have a player on your roster whose NFL team played on Thursday you have to decide whether to start or not start him before the thursday games. If an owner fails to submit a roster, the previous week's roster will be used for scoring purposes.
II. Player acquisition
A. Draft
Note: The draft will take place before the season and will
include six rounds. Only professional players may be drafted.
Only current draft picks may be traded.
B. Trade
Note: Trades may be made any time between the last regular
season game and the trade deadline. The trade deadline is the
first game of the fourteenth week. Any number of players or draft
picks may be traded for any number of players or draft picks.
C. Waivers
Teams will be allowed to claim players via the waiver wire during
seven separate time periods throughout the season. These periods
will be after the final games of weeks one, three, five, seven, and
nine, eleven, and thirteen. All waiver claims must be made before 7 PM on Thursday of
those weeks. The waiver list for week one will include all non-drafted
players who are on a NFL roster. All players who are cut from a FFL
roster or added to a NFL roster shall be placed on the next waiver
list. (Example: a player who is cut from a FFL team during week 3
will be added to the week 5 waiver wire; a player who signs with a
NFL team during week 5 will be added to the week 7 waiver wire.
FFL teams will be assigned an opening waiver position based on
their total points the previous season. If more than one team claims
the same player, the commissioner will award the player to the team
with the highest waiver position. ( Note: # 1 waiver position is higher
than # 10 waiver position) No waiver acquisitions will be awarded
until after the 7 PM on Thursday dead line. Once a team picks up a
player on waivers, they assume the # 10 position and all other teams
move up one.A team can make only one claim per waiver position. A
team can attempt to claim more than one player off waivers; however,
they must specify the order for the selection.( Example: the team
with the # 1 waiver position wants players A, B, and C off the waiver
wire. The team specifies the order in which to pick up the players as
C, A, B. Player C is awarded to the team because of the # 1 waiver
position, player A must clear all the way down to the team's new
waiver position of #10 before being awarded, and so on.) Waiver
positions cannot be traded. All waiver acquisitions cost $1.00.
D. Injured reserve
One player on your roster can be placed on I.R., thus
opening up a roster spot in the same position. This player must
first be placed on I.R. by the N.F.L. team. At the end of the
N.F.L. regular season, your roster must be cut down to normal
size before T.F.L. trading can comence.
