Winmar lines up for the Dogs in season 99. Thanks for the memories Nicky - the original Wizard!!

The players draft concluded in early February and St Kilda picked up Ex Collingwood player Tony Francis.  Francis (29) has been training with the Saints since October and could provide another running option for the Saints.  Francis selection shows a departure from the Saints recent successful policy of selecting youth.   This could be an indication of the influence of Coach Watson.

In the lead up to the November 1988 draft the Saints like all other clubs have been working their numbers.  Rocket Rod Keogh, Ryan Grinter, Jamie Elliot and Lucas Fleming have all been delisted.  Jayson (Jack) Daniels has retired.  Matthew Lappin will play for Carlton in 1999.
