Barbara's Wedding
The wedding was hold in a little church in Sesto San Giovanni (near Milan) at 11.00 am. At the wedding were invited Maurizio with his girlfriend and family, longtime friends of Barbara and Diego, training partners of Barbara and Maurizio, ice dance judges, Ottavio Cinquanta, Sagester (makers of Baby's costumes), ex-partner of Baby, a fan from Japan, of course me, Sissi and Manuela (Federella, official Photographer of Baby and Mauri), some press and many others I didn't see (I was really excited!). Baby entered the church dressed in a long white dress withouth sleevs and with a long veil covering her face and touching the ground in the back. Beside her was her father who was really moved (actually he was crying), eventually Baby was crying too. Diego, dressed in a dark grey dress with a botton-hole white flower (like the flowers Baby had in her bouquet), was waiting at the altar. The wedding lasted 1 hour and at the moment of the exchange of the wedding-rings, we were all really touched. Baby said her promises with a voice broken for the emotion. After the exchange of the wedding-rings Diego turned to the "audience" and made a sign of victory! At the exit of the church Ottavio Cinquanta and other Italian judges lifted up a 6.0 for the new couple! We all threw rice to Baby and Diego who hid himself under Baby's veil! Then everybody went to Baby and Diego to congratulate them. Baby went in the wedding limo and showed her wedding-ring while going away. The banquet was held in Bergamo (a city near Milan) in a restaurant called Villa Canton, and lasted more the 7 hours!!!! Everything was perfect and Baby and Diego were really, really happy as you can imagine. Congratulations again!!!!
