The Transmetals II were the result of rash experiments by Megatron. In trying to create a new breed of Transmetal warrior, he wound up creating a new batch of warriors, some Maximal, some Predacon. Among them are old favorites like Cheetor and Dinobot. The Beast Wars enter a new era: Enter - The Transmetals 2.
