Another night in a European fairytale and what a night at that!.

Chelsea at full strength must of looked at Lazio's teamsheet and thought to themselfs that they had a uphill struggle but that was not the case as Chelsea defended brilliantly and also had their own chances to score.

Zola and Flo were particulary impressive and Zola's chip was memorable with the goalkeeper beat the Lazio defenders managed to somehow scrabble the ball off the line, luck is just not on his side at the moment.

After a nervy start we soon get into our rythm and well deserved the point.
The most talked about incident will be about, when Vialli was sent off from the bench after swearing at the 4th official over the ref awarding a free kick to Lazio when Flo was clean through.

Flo managed to round Couto and he immedietely fell to the ground holding his face, quite clearly Flo had made no contact with him.

This incenced Vialli who argued with the 4th Official , the 4th official called Ref Hermut Krugg over to speak to him about Vialli's behaviour,and the ref instantly sent Vialli off to the tunnel.

Vialli watched the game in the tunnel and sent Chelsea interpreter Gary Staker to give Ray Wilkins instructions on the bench..

The sending off seem to inspire Chelsea and we passed the ball around brilliantly and were at the end of the game the better team on the night.

I watched the game in the Shed Bar at the Bridge and it was a fantastic night with a great atmosphere, I arrived home drunk and with no voice but it was well worth it.
