I'll Be Yours Forever ... I'll Be Yours Forever
By Reivyn Poe (Sarah Whitaker)

Chapter 11

Kane and Nick hit the open road. Ahhh leg room! At least for Kane, that was. Nick's friends, Lars and Kyle, were a bit tight with Kane in the middle, but it was the only seat that would even things out. The roofless car was also quite facinating. He had never ridden in one. The wind whipped past his masked face and through his hair as they finally entered the busy part of Oklahoma. Nick circled a few times through the alleys to find a parking space. Adam was at shotgun, complaining to Nick about the traffic.

"Relax, getting there is half the fun, man!" Nick assured.

"Yeah, and finding parking's ALL the hell," snapped Adam.

Lars was a major wrestling fan, especially of the Rock. He kept talking to Kane, most of which he had no answers for because he and the Rock never got along. He dressed very differently than the others, in a big multi-colored rainbow shirt and countless braids in his hair. His pants were extremely baggy and crystals adorned his necklace and earrings.

"So, Kane, you and the Rock ever talk at all? If you ever get me his address, let me know, okay?" Lars asked.

All Kane could do was nod why would this guy want the Rock's address? He could get autographs at the next matchups tomorrow. He was more confusing than Dude Love! And what was that odd smell?

"Very cool, brother! Very cool!" Lars replied.

Lars seemed a little dazed as he patted Kane on the shoulder and nodded his head. He grinned from ear to ear and laughed quietly with his teeth about 3 different shades of yellow. "We gonna get along just fine!"

Kane tilted his head at him slightly and edged away from him a little. Kyle was snickering. "Don't you mind him, Big Red, he's like that sometimes." Kyle assured as he whispered to Kane. "Although, you don't ever want to have a drink with that guy. He's on stuff that you wouldn't want to get involved with. He claims it's part of his religion, but..."

"Well, I'll be damned! A parking space! Five bucks an hour, I bet!" Adam shouted.

Nick pulled into the space very expertly, him being the master of parallel parking. Everyone got out of the car as Nick looked two ways. He stood in front of the parking meter. "Anyone looking?" Nick asked.

"Nada" Kyle snickered.

With that, Nick pulled out a coin fused on a wire. Kane tilted his head at the thing, wondering what that was all about. Nick dipped the coin in and out of the meter several times before it was full of parking time. He and Adam slapped hands and laughed.

"Again, your wise teachings amaze me, Nick!" Adam laughed.

Nick folded his hands and squinted his eyes. He spoke in a funny voice. "Ah, yes young bed-hopper I will soon teach you the art of avoiding the law!"

Everyone but Kane laughed, tilting his head and wondering what that comment meant. Kyle put a friendly arm on Kane's shoulder and smile. "Hey, wise sensei! We'll have to teach, Big Red, here the ropes!" Kyle said.

"Ah yes, we teach him well!" Nick said in the odd accent. "Come, we must go to training ground!"

At this point, Kane was worried. Why were these men acting so strangely? He saw Mick act this weird when he prepared for matches, but these guys were ANYTHING but wrestlers. That was what worried him. As the four walked with him his mind kept going back to Stacy's warning about them "getting wild" before. With that on his mind, they entered a shady bar known as "Sudlarich's". Many eyes were turned on him in his civies, as his group had their seats at the bar.

~ They were right, I don't think I AM going to forget this~

With that thought, Kane sulked a little, pondering what would be in store for him.
