I'll Be Yours Forever ... I'll Be Yours Forever
By Reivyn Poe (Sarah Whitaker)

Chapter 1

In his "father's" hearse, he thought about the future where his road would take him. Beside him was his tag team partner and friend, Mick Foley but all called him Mankind these days. He was Kane a tortured soul with a blistered past of grief and despair. He wanted the pain to end one way or another. Either he would kill his brother who started the fireor so he was told or finally kill himself and meet with his mother in hell. At least, that's where he thinks she would be after all the horrid things he was told of her.

"You're thinking about something hard, Kane I know that look even under your mask what's eatin' you?" Mick asked. Kane thought a moment his father was in the front seat and his "stepbrother", Paul's son Lucas, was driving.
"Can you keep a secret?" It was hard for Kane to talk with the wretched device in his neck it was supposedly a token of Mr. McMahon's esteem for trying to thwart his brother but alas it was a bit below his expectations of "speaking" but he spoke, nevertheless, so he did not complain. "Sure, Kane, what's bugging you?" Mick replied.

Kane looked at his "father" in front again, hoping he couldn't hear. "I want to be loved"
"That's it???" Mick replied. "Your dad loves you more than anything, so does well, I dunno about Luke, but-"
"He does not"
Kane strained his voice, saying those quick words Paul heard him in front
"Something wrong, son?" Paul asked
"It is nothingthankyou"

Kane HATED Lucas he recalled the days that he came down to his room and taunted him because of his scarred complexion. Yes, he did get punished for it but when Kane fought back one time, Paul was furious and struck him down. It was alright, though. He understood that he would never be as good as Lucas was he was a legitimate child, and he should not try to rip his throat out if he ever gave him a harsh word. Paul had another son, named Joshua, who often came down to play with Kane he was a good friend until Paul sent him to boarding school when they were caught playing outside.

"Are you sure it's nothing?" Mick asked quietly.
"Not that kindoflove"
"Ohhhhh you mean the lady type." Mick said, understanding, "don't worry about that, women are horrible."
"Thenwhyareyou...married?"

Mick fell silent he did not think that ANY lady would fall for Kane. He put an arm on Kane's shoulder, trying to find the right words. "I think the right woman for you is out there, Kane" Mick said. "She's going to be so special that I may be jealous of her for being soso-" Kane knew what Mick was trying to do.
"Fullofpity"
"Nonononono." Mick replied " so so Perfect!"
"Right"
Even in his mechanical voice his sarcasm rung in Mick's ears like the Liberty Bell
"I'm not lying to you Kane!" replied Mick "Ifwhen you find her, she'll be the perfect one for you!"
"Iheard that "IF""

Mick was ready to smack himself for THAT comment. He thought fast "Lemme tell you, Kane, it took me all my life to find the right woman for me" Said Mick. "Perfect women are SO hard to find that almost nobody finds them but yours will be perfect!"
"She'd better be to put up with THAT ugly mug." Lucas quipped Mick was speaking too loud.
"Lucas, what did I TELL you about making fun of your brother?!?!"
Paul snapped. Lucas sighed. "Not to I'll keep my mouth shut" Lucas replied.

Kane's glare at Lucas was so cold, it burned deeper than the fires of hell. Mick kept his arm on Kane's shoulder, comforting him. "You're so LUCKY he's on your side!" Mick snapped "I'd hate to have a brother like you" Kane nodded at Mick in thanks as they finally arrived at the Civic Auditorium where yet ANOTHER war was to take place between he and some poor unfortunate soul. They finally pulled in and parked.

Chapter 2

"NOT AGAIN!!!! Oooooooh! Some people!" she shrieked. This was the third time someone bumped into her, making her drop all her art supplies. She went down on the floor, picking up every little brush and paint tube and putting it in her bag. "I come all the way from Oklahoma to do some artwork for a wrestling show, and the people here run into you like you were nothing honestly, what cheek!" she mumbled.

She got up with her big grey bag, badly overflowing, and went on her way to the locker rooms to see if she could meet any of her subjects before she painted the real thing. She made a few sketches from pictures she got from her employer, but she needed the essence of the matterhow they feltwhat they were going through...what they were inside their very soul. She was a perfectionist and proud of it. She first ran into Mosh and Thrasher of the Headbangers. They were good people, just a bit wild

~Neon definitely neon. ~ She thought before she continued. She took notes on the next bunch she ran into Jackyl's "Parade of Oddities" with Luna, Golga, and company. They were all very interesting, each with their own tale of art. She was rather fond of each of them except the Jackyl himself. To her, he was very 2 dimensional and talked too much. She was polite, however, until he made a pass at her, putting his arm around her. She slipped away quickly and left, almost running, not looking where she was going. The next thing she remembered was sitting on the floor, shaking her head.

"Watch it, lady!" a high pitched voice sounded out. She shook her head again and looked up at a man clad in red and black the biggest man she ever saw. She looked him in the eyes at first with wonder then a smile as she laughed, embarrassed at running into this black and red brick wall. She then looked down at her spilled suppliesand the laughing stopped. "Sorry, my fault." She said quickly as she started to pick up her things. Kane cocked his head inquisitively at the lady. ~Why did she laugh and look me in the eyes with no fear?~ "Next time, my Kane might get angry at you. His temper wears thin." Paul complained.
"Sorry, I'm not usually that careless." She replied "I ran into a pervert a few moments before, I was trying to get away from him."

Kane watched her get the supplies off the ground and he spotted an open book with a black and white sketch of him on one side and Mick as Cactus Jack on the other. He knelt down to pick it up in curiousity. Mick looked over Kane's shoulder. "Heyyyyy that's damn good!" Mick commented.
She looked up a moment and smiled. "Thanks" she replied as she looked at Kane.
"So you're Kane?"
Kane nodded. He looked at the picture again and handed the sketchbook to the girl. He just stared at the girl she was lovely despite her grungy work clothes. Her hair was long and red-orangish, pulled back with a bandana. She wore clean blue jeans and a workshirt, which she covered in a red jacket. Her eyes captivated him the most. They were an almost pale blue with green speckles.

"You mean, you didn't know who KANE was?!?!" Paul said.
"Accually, I don't know anything about wrestling" she admitted "I just got this job a day or two ago. I'm trying to learn the ropes here. I do art for the magazine."
"Oohhhhhh yes!" said Paul "His is a tragic tale! He's my son and I've seen him through 20 years of agony."
After picking up all her things, she stood as did Kane. He easily dwarfed her by a foot, possibly a foot and a half. He cocked his head to the side, just looking at her face his vision, thanks to the fire, was not perfect but he was memorizing it easily. Mick saw him gazing at her and grinned because she wasn't running away.
"I'm sorry to hear that" she replied "Oh, by the way, I'm Stacy everyone calls me "Dazzle", so I'm Stacy Dazzle my employer said it was a good pen name, so it stuck. I find it rather sheepish, myself.

Stacy looked up at Kane again smiling. Paul went on and on about The Undertaker and the brother's rivalry. She barely listened, she looked Kane up and down sizing him up and wondering what background would fit him. In her eyes, he would make the perfect portrait. In Kane's, however ~So that is the name the angels blessed her with. Stacy I shall always remember her. ~ Mick looked at Kane and Stacy, with a sappy grin on his face he KNEW what was going through Kane's mind. Paul was going on, until he reached the part about the fire, losing his parents and surviving with numerous scars. Stacy finally listened at the story.

"Oh dear" Stacy said finally getting out of her artistic view of Kane "So that's why most of his body is covered I wish I could relate to it, but I can't." Kane was expecting her to say "I'm so sorry" Kane thought to himself about it.
~She does not pity me? Hownice. ~
"Not many can, I'm afraid" replied Paul "Although, I'm glad you at least try to understand him. I have been with him for the past twenty years. This world has been so cruel to him." Lucas came in from the other hall. He too, caught sight of Stacy. He smiled to himself, thinking her to be one good-looking woman. "The hearse is ready in case we need it, dad." He said as he eyed Stacy.

Stacy looked back on him. He was a rather handsome man to be the son of Paul. He had the hair and eyes, but he was THIN and taller. There was something about him she didn't trust, so she just looked away and back at Kane. "Mighty good, son! Come on, Kane, let's show these men who's boss!" Paul said as he walked away. Kane did not want to leave he wanted to know Stacy a bit more. Stacy just looked at him and smiled again. Mick was loving every minute of it. "Good luck. I'd better be going, too. I have to get started on your portrait." Stacy said.
"Portrait???"

Kane coughed as he said that word he didn't like his voicebox, but it was better than nothing. "Oh! You do speak!" Stacy said, pleasantly surprised. "Yes. I do art for the magazine. You'll be the first I paint I think you'll like it, from the idea I had." "Some time THIS CENTURY, Kane!" Paul snapped. Kane nodded solemnly
"Farewell Stacy."
"You, too!" she said as she walked away.
Lucas stared at Stacy as the two parted ways an evil grin curled upon his lips

Chapter 3

Kane destroyed his competition yet again and Paul loved every minute of it. Kane's thoughts, however, were getting his job over with and quickly, so he could seek out Stacy again. The matches were over for the night. Mick and Kane were getting into their street attire. Kane's eyes, both glass and real, were glazed playing back over and over Stacy's lovely face in his mind. Mick knew what he was thinking.

"So what about that lady we met, huh?" Mick remarked smirking. Kane did not want Mick to know. He MIGHT tell his father.
" What about her?"
"You know exactly what I mean!" Mick replied "The way you looked at that girl, you were ready to run away with her into the country and have 5 kids!"
Kane said nothing for awhile and then looked at Mick. "You will not tell father?"
"Naaaa he'd just mess you up you see, my main cat, the Dude KNOWS about love." Mick replied.

Mick took off his Mankind mask, put on a pair of shades and a tie-dye bandana and smiled from ear to ear. "You gotta be on fire, my man! The flames of your burning passion must be on FULL BLAST!" Mick continued "OWWWWW, Have MERCY!"
Kane just sat there, looking at Mick, confused as ever. The burning in his soul has caused the injury of many even hundreds. Mick, most of all, was being so different. Was he ill? Mick continued. "I tell ya, the Dude knows ladies! Mrs. Foley's little boy has been around and around like a record on a sound box. They may be complicated, my main cat, Kane, but they are SOOOOOO much fun when you have the right one. This Stacy Dudette will be on you like bellbottoms on a flower child!"
Kane just stared at him blankly.
"That is not what I want. I just want her tocare for me. Whywould Iwantheron me?"

There was a knock on the door and Mick was about to put away his Dude Love facade when Stacy's voice was heard. "Can I come in?"
Kane gulped in his throat he was in his street clothes WITHOUT his mask. Kane got up and frantically searched for his mask. Mick put his Dude Love shades back on and grinned broadly, showing his front teeth missing. "Come RIGHT in!" Mick said.
Kane shook head head violently at Mick begging him to send her away but the door started to open. Kane panicked. He could not let Stacy see his horribly scarred face!!! He found a small, but wide garbage pail and put it over his head before Stacy came in. Mick just shook his head, chuckling to himself. Stacy just looked at Kane with the garbage pail over his head, her eyebrow raised in curiosity. "Did I pick a bad time?" Stacy asked.

Mick answered before Kane could ever find the right words. Kane was covered in garbage, ranging from paper to banana peels. "Not at all, my main kitten, not in the least! Kane's just a bit shy." Mick replied.
"'Main kitten'?" Stacy asked "You must be the infamous Mick Foley the one with the multiple personality thing?"
"I am, is, are, and ever will be!" Mick replied.
"That's nice" said Stacy "I was wondering if I could talk with you and Kane for awhile. I still haven't quite gotten to fully understand him."
Kane wasn't sure how long he could keep the garbage pail on his head something stunk. "Not too long"
Stacy still looked at Kane curiously. "What are you doing with a trash can on your head?" Stacy asked. Kane thought a moment for an answer. "Making an artistic statement."

Mick was laughing at Kane's shy tendencies, but since the pail was over Kane's head, he could not see Mick's face as it tried not to burst into laughter. Stacy looked below Kane and saw a hint of red leather under some garbage paper. She approached Kane and picked it up. It was his mask. "Were you looking for this?" Stacy asked as she put the mask on Kane's lap. Kane nabbed the mask and turned his back to Mick and Stacy as he took off the pail and put on his mask. There was garbage all over his hair that he raked out with his gloved hand. There was even a dead mouse that fell from his head to the floor.

"Thank you" Was all Kane could reply to Stacy's kindness.
"Anyway I was wondering if I could get to know you a little better " said Stacy. "I really need to know the heart of a person before I start on the portrait."
Before Kane could answer, Mick was on top of the ball. "My precious kitten, it would be an honor for my very hip friend to go on a date with the likes of a lovely vixen such as yourself!" Replied Mick.
That would have been Kane's response but a simple yes would have suited him better. However there WAS a small problem. How would Paul and Lucas feel about the situation? Paul would surely have a problem with it and God knows what vile words Lucas would have for him.

"Well, if it's alright with Kane, would our next stop to Des Moines be a good time?" Asked Stacy. Kane nodded and Mick was grinning from ear to ear. "Alright! Thanks!" Stacy said as she smiled and went out the door. As soon as she left, Kane gave a rather cold look to Mick. "Worry not, my killer coz, I have the whole thing planned. I'll just tell Uncle Paul that I plan to kidnap you for a minor celebration! A bonding thing if you will I'm not lying, I just won't mention that our presence will be graced by the marvelous Lady Dazzle to boot." Replied Mick. "I'll leave you with the kitten and you can start the Summer of Love! OWWWWWW!" Kane was still a bit cross with him as well as confused at his friend's antics.
"Why did you invite her in?"
"Kane, my main cat, it was either now or never. If you didn't see her now, it may have never come to pass." Mick replied.
Kane was uptight. This would mark the first "date" of his life. He appreciated Mick's help, but the more advice he heard the more confused he was. It was not at all what he was feeling inside when he saw her. It was as if the fire within was tame and yet still there. If it was not love that he was feeling what was it?

Chapter 4

Kane went with his father on the usual routine to the next stop on the WWF's tour in Des Moines. All Kane could think about was Stacy and just how in the name of hell could Mick come up with such a lame plan to get them together! Lame it was, but it would be the only way it would seem. Lucas sat across from Kane as Kane looked out the window from the bus, the sunlight hurting his eyes.

"What exactly is it with you, brother dear?" Lucas said, his sarcasm bitter and cruel. "You seem to have been acting rather disturbed since that rendevous with that young lady, Stacy." Kane ignored him looking out on the road ahead. Paul was asleep on the bench beside Lucas and Mick was on another side of the bus talking to the ladies that Shane McMahon had with him apparently, Dude Love had not quite worn away since the night before. Lucas grinned, sensing that Kane was angered at him. "You know she can never love a man like you you are too hulking and forlorn." Lucas sneered. "She needs a man with integrity guile suave. That hardly describes you at all."

Kane looked at him once, doing his damnedest to ignore him. "Let me think" Lucas continued. "Let's see who would make a good match for her? Val Venis is a rather potential for her! She could model his body for a sculpture and perhaps a few Ahem other things?" Kane was on the verge of smacking the hell out of Lucas, but he refrained. "Or perhaps" Lucas continued "Your brother, The Undertaker, also has some possibility she can do some gothic art on him. She can do a great graveyard landscaping with him, I am certain." Kane clenched his fist at the mere thought of it. Stacy and his brother?! ~Unthinkable unimaginable unexuseable! ~ Kane thought. "Oh!" Lucas continued "I know a perfect pairing for her! I could take her with me to our hearse and-"

Within seconds, Kane had Lucas' throat clenched in his gloved hand. His eyes flared with the fires of hell, waiting to burn Lucas to a crisp. Paul awoke rather abruptly and covered Kane's good eye. "NO KANE! Down! Cut! Away!!!" Paul shrieked "Lucas, what did you say to him THIS time?" Kane released his grip on Lucas, not being able to see anything he sat back down in his seat and Mick came back quickly to see the situation. "He's mad, father!" Lucas shouted "I was merely talking about the time we met the artist girl and he attacked me! He must have some rather bad feelings for her!"
"Is that so?" Paul asked "Don't worry, Kane, she won't be bothering us anymore, okay? I will personally see to it! Just sit back down and try to relax, okay? We have another fight tonight. Afterwards, I'll treat you to a night on the town, is that okay? I know a GREAT restaurant in this part of the country. You get to wear costumes and everything! It's a Mardi Gras palace."

Mick had a grimace over his face as Paul moved back slowly away from Kane, giving him vision back. Lucas grinned behind Paul in a sinister way as Kane glared at him with an equal evil. Kane had not been out in public since Paul took him to the park after dark when he was a child, so it was a small consolation. "Lucas, come with me. I think we should let Kane cool down." Paul said as he took Lucas with him Kane was thankful that Lucas was taken. Mick took a seat next to Kane. "Okay a change of plans I have another idea." Mick said "I'll tell Stacy at what restaurant Paul's going to and-"
"What???" Kane asked "How will father accept her?"
"Trust me, Kane I know what I'm doing." Mick said "I'll have it covered! Here's the plan"

Chapter 5

Stacy got the message from Mick that night to meet Kane at the Mardi Gras Palace: Bar and Grill. She was finishing up her latest sketch of Stone Cold Steve Austin with a cobra background, wondering if she could use it for anything, when she looked up for a moment. A man as big as Kane with long black hair and eyes that could run through her soul. After looking at his attire for a few moments she wondered if this was the brother Paul had mentioned earlier. She got up all her bravery and approached the ominous figure with caution.

"Eexcuse me, sir." Stacy managed to squeak. The man looked at her in the eye for a moment as if to look into her own soul as a judge. Stacy just stood there in fear and wonder. He was a phenomenal artistic specimen in her eyes with correct proportioning and gothic mystique however, this was all she felt for him. "I'm Stacy Stacy "Dazzle" Kirk." She said. "I do art for the magazine and I was wondering if you are The Undertaker?"
"Not many are unknown to me at this day and age." He replied "Yes, I am The Undertaker. The Reaper of Wayward Souls and the Lord of Darkness."
Stacy gulped in the back of her throat. From the story she heard from Paul, she was rather intimidated, but stood her ground nevertheless. "I" Stacy started. "Heard many things about you both good and bad, I'm afraid from other people in the locker room quite frankly I don't know who to believe."

The Undertaker looked her over and spoke with hardly any emotion. "I have committed sins beyond reckoning against many who would dare oppose the darkness. I, however, have committed no sin against my mother and father other than teaching my younger brother, Kane, a lesson in pain as revenge for the things he did to our family as well as to others."
Stacy stood there, not quite as intimidated as before.
"What has Kane done to deserve such punishment?" Stacy asked.
"You mean you know not of our tale?" The Undertaker asked.
"Quite frankly, I wasn't interested in Pro Wrestling until I got the job at the magazine." Stacy replied "I only heard Paul Bearer's side of the story."
The Undertaker sighed and rolled his eyes as he turned his head away. "No wonder you are confused" The Undertaker remarked. "He is the father of lies."
"Well I couldn't really tell, because I hardly know him" Stacy said. "Could you tell me your side of the story?"
"Perhaps laterfor it is a long one." The Undertaker said as he turned his gaze back to Stacy. "Why are you so interested in our tale?"
"Well, to be honest, Undertaker, I find your brother rather intriguing." Stacy replied. "In fact I am to meet him for dinner with Mick Foley."

The Undertaker sighed again and averted his gaze from hers. "I'm sorry if that bothers you, Undertaker, but I do want to learn more about him if I may." Stacy remarked.
"I will leave you with this, Ms. Kirk." The Undertaker said as he looked back at her. "He and I hate each other like fire and ice however if anyone needed a friend like you, it is my brother, Kane."
Stacy was rather surprised at the great compliment given to her. "Why thank you." Stacy said. "What makes you say that?"
"I have seen your soul, Ms. Kirk." Replied The Undertaker. "A pure heart among the souls of the damned is sure to bring forth hope."
The Undertaker heard his music rising in the arena. He turned to leave, but not before turning back to Stacy. "You have my support, Ms. Kirk, only tell my brother nothing." He said. "I would give anything to have a family again."
With that he left. Stacy stood there a few moments in wonderment of this man. He was everything opposite of what Paul had said. She went into her little cubby at the auditorium, wondering what the future may hold for her.
