After over a month of successfully dodging and avoiding the media, Mike has earned the nickname "The Garbo of the NHL." Kind of ironic for a guy that's infamous for always having plenty to say and going ahead and saying it without any hesitation. In fact, the only on-the-record exchange between him and the press was about a week ago in Boston when a reporter asked Mike is he had any time to talk, and Mike shot, "Not even a second."
You tell 'em, Mike! Apparently, he's on one of those "You hurt me - I'm not talking to you anymore" kicks, which is totally understandable. After the way he's been butchered and bullied by these fickle and malicious sportswriters, I'd be wary of opening my gop in public too!
