One reason is that it's All-Star break. I still don't know who went to represent the Isles. Once the second half of the season starts up again, it's sure to be just as dull, unless Mike goes nuts and starts trading like a madman. Of course, he's never done that before (heheheheh)....
And things of that nature may take root very soon. There's an odd rumor going around that has Mike sending Felix Potvin and Scott Lachance to Edmonton for Boris Mironov and "another player." Yeah, that seems like a fair deal. >:-/
To digress for a moment, I really don't wanna see Scott go. He's one of only two "original" Islanders left. Now, what I mean by "original" is whoever was playing for the Isles when I first started watching them during the 1993 playoffs. The other player is Rice Pilaf...I mean, Rich Pilon. (Sorry, I'm a little hungry right now..)
